Is that legal? surely they cannot remove money via your card, I am no expert but I would seek advice from the citizens advice bureau in relation to this.

Tbh i am angry they have taken the money but at least as of next month they will be out of

Regarding the payday loans.

Because I changed my account, and my old bank had accepted my DMP , and therefore all payments including my ones where my card had been authorised had been stopped. PDUK couldn't take anything from me. I aslo have two other payday loans but they SEEM to be acting sensibly. We shall see.

Never, ever get involved with payday loans. They are bad news and once you are in the cycle you may not get out of it. let's face it, if you need a payday loan you are already in dire straits.

:grouphug: to those affected by payday loans - don't really have any other advice other than to put your trust in CCCS and hopefully they will sort it out!

I know you've been left a bit short this month Regret, but how amazing to have cleared one of your debts already??? Just think, after they've helped themselves to the last £40 then they're gone, out of your hair and the payment you would have made to them under your DMP will be allocated to your other debts and you'll be DF quicker !!!

Very jealous of full body massage Natty! I'm starting a beauty therapy course in September so I'm hoping that students get to practice on each other !

I have had news from CrapOne.....who have never heard of me and still insist upon a signature.....they've defaulted me!! YAY!!! :j:j:j:j:j Just wish they'd crack on and pass it to a DCA so I can start making headway to clearing this!!

Other than that, still no real DMP news. Still waiting to hear back from Abbey on one account, they've accepted on the other, HSBC have accepted, Black Horse accepted, CrapOne are messing about with signatures, no response so far from Provident or the new DCA that Orange is now sitting with so I'll be writing some more letters on Monday. Would do it today, but can't be bothered to be honest :rotfl:

Right - the sun's out, Mount Washmore is insurmountable once more and I'm split shifts at the chippy so I'd better get some coffee and crack on!!

payday loans sound like the pits, I agree with Mikon, I don't think that sounds legal Regret, but, I suppose once they are gone, they are gone, and that will be a big relief. Not much news here, Amex seem to have taken the debt back, can't be bothered phoning them as they put you through to the otherside of the world and they can't speak English with a Scottish accent, so a waste of time for us all. Will just keep plodding on, I'm a bit fed up with it now to be honest, but thems the options I suppose.

Morning all, sun is shining here but im stuck in sorting paperwork and banking for the week:(

Quick update on son, he's doing ok back at school yesterday seemed to go ok, still a bit hyper from steroids just waiting for the come down now! just going to take time before all is back to normal can be a slow process im told!

Phone call from MBNA this morning OMG wouldnt you just like to punch some of these people in the face:mad: went a bit like this, You have not made payment for May, o hold on you paid £1, you are in arrears. Yes I am going on a DMP with CCCS. O we have not been informed of this. Yes you have I have sent 2 letters and have spoken to you on phone at least once, if you have the token payment you have the letter. Why are you in dept? What can you pay us? O !!!! off :mad: (didnt really say that), please deal with us direct do not go to CCCS. No I am going with CCCS. You will get a bad credit rating. I know. You will still get charges until a proper payment has been set up and I will be phoning you every week to discuss again. OK you do that goodbye.:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Honestly these people are real !!!!!!!!s, I know I am in debt, I know I have killed my credit rating. I have absolutely not gone into this with blinkers on it has been a really hard long researched debated decission, and you know what I am proud to be doing it and making a real attempt to sort my financial situation out so they can all go and take a jump, I am doing the best I possibly can and am jumping all hurdles put in my way.

Sorry rant over but really we all know what we are doing and they come on so patronising and make you feel so small and pathetic well im not, im pround to be dealing with it.

Seems hit and miss how each creditor will react, MBNA accepted my DMP first, within a few days, which was great as I owe them £10500:eek: but I have been on the receiving end of their collection dept before, arrogant and threatening seems too kind....

Also, I had to call Halifax yesterday and the (seemed like) 12 year old girl I spoke asked why I was unable to pay and was I looking for a job. Didn't mention that we were home educating now so a job seems unlikely in the near future.....

hello all thanks for your replies. dont seem to be getting anywhere with the creditors, still getting letters about collections and coming to my house. all the ones i have rung have said that they havent recieved anything from cccs. i rang cccs but they said not to worry!! im getting really frightened now about it all. i feel like im not making any progress and the letters are getting more and more and seem to be more threatening.

wonga pd loan have sent a letter today demanding payment by 12pm on 7th june or they will take it further.

Why are you getting threats of people calling? I don't think that usually happens so early. Maybe you are behind in payments before contacting CCCS?

I hope you don't mind me asking and feel free not to answer, but if that was the reason, it would be helpful for others just starting out to know. If that isn't the reason then, who knows what is, they are so unpredictable:mad:
