payday loans are the worst type of loan in my opinion. they are short term loans that you borrow during the month and agree to pay on your next payday. they tend to be £25 for every 100 borrowed but that makes the interest usually over 1000%!!! they are a nightmare and once you get in a cycle of using them its impossible to get out.
I unfortunatley got in the habit of using them and they are proving impossible with my dmp. even if you make an agreement with them they just take money when they feel like it.
i had a pd loan with quick quid. i informed them of the dmp however this month they have taken 250 from my bank account. when i rang them the man (who didnt speak much english) was shouting at me saying it was all my fault and they were entitled to help themselves to my money! on the plus side i now only owe them £49 so if they take that next month then i will have paid them back and thats more for my dmp. however it meant that i have no money this month at all for food and petrol.
sorry for the rant but i hope i have put some people off pd loans as they really are pure evil.LBM- may2010:A0 -

Just to let you know that CITI replied to the letter I wrote to Mike Green regarding the interest they had charged. The letter was quite simple. Sorry we are unable to freeze the interest until we have mutual agreed a repayment plan.
I am just hoping that they will accept the offer CCCS have made to them. Although I appealed to their sympathetic/professional side it did not work. So good luck with your negotiations with CITI.

Hi Mikon, my update with SCHITI is that Payplan faxed them my offer, 4 weeks after sending it to them electronically, according to Justabank (Payplans brill DMP tracker) the offer is still 'pending'.
They are totally pants.
On the plus side EGG informed me today that all interest and charges will be frozen. So it looks like I have had the interest frozen on all my cards bar SCHITI PANTS!!!!LBM Jan 2010. DFD 2016.

Evening peeps!
I thought Id heard everything, but payday loans must be the worst. How are they still taking money out of your account? Have you cancelled everything? Sorry cant help with them, its something I never felt comfortable taking on if Im honest.
Todays post brought my very first 3rd party debt collection agency letter. Total waste of paper. It says such n such are acting as administrators for the debt and that if we need to speak to someone, to ring them. Seemed all scary when I first opened it, but it seems so far so good.

Nataz did they mention or accept your DMP offer or was that not mentioned and if you don't mind me asking who are they acting on behalf of.

I had cancelled the dd but I didn't realise they still had my card details, and they took it off my debit card.I rang them and the man was so horrible to me shouting at me saying I hadn't contacted them and I was a liar he said they were entittled to take my money.I know I have been so stupid getting involved with them but I really was desperate.LBM- may2010:A0
