    Hi Folks

Nothing new to report. NEXT still denying receiving my proposal. Phoned CCCS to inform them of NEXT and they told me that they must have received it because it was sent electronically in a batch and the chances are it is in the processing dept and they need to send it to the collections dept, the lady at CCCS also told me it can take upto 6 weeks for the documentation to reach the right dept at your creditors. So i have emailed NEXT telling them exactly what CCCS told me and if they need any further info contact CCCS direct. I have not heard back.

Still waiting for acceptance from Barclays, Schiti, Northern Rock, Barclaycard although they may not write to me they may just accept. May give them a ring at the end of the week.

No phone calls from any creditors so things are quite.

    Regards

    Hi Everyone *walks in sheepishly*

I'm SO sorry I have been neglecting you all *hands out tea and cookies* work has been non-stop, new client so we're all hands on deck!

Plus, I've badly sprained my foot whilst running :( so spent most of Saturday at the hospital getting checked & x-ray. 2 weeks of ibuprofen & no running :(

No DMP news to report here. Will be flat hunting soon EEK!! And BF's job is going really well - loads of overtime so lots more cash!! Hurrah!! :j:j

I on the other hand, need to fork out for a new pair of jeans as I managed to rip my usual pair trying to get in them after the wash (no more cookies for me!)....a cost I could do without, but I need jeans for work...Grrrrrr

Hope all is well with you all, catching up with everyone's news now xxx

    Not another injury!!:eek::eek::eek:

My ankle is all better now, 4 weeks later but I'm still a bit shakey on unlevel ground.

Hope you're feeling better soon VicB!

Just checking in to say Hi to everyone.

Nothing DMP to report but I still need to get in touch with Next again. They just sent me the same paperwork all over again and I still don't know if they have acknowledged any payments from CCCS. I've been dropping hints to my dad about offering a F&F.

ok, ok, I confess, I am a spoiled little daddy's girl at the age of 36:rotfl:

    Update

NEXT have responded to my email. They have accepted my offer and frozen the interest charges. This will only apply as long as they receive the payment by the due date on the statement. This is where the problem starts.

My payment due date is the 8th of every month. My CCCS Payment does not go to NEXT until 26th June which means my first payment will be late and they will retract the acceptance.

My question is should I send them a payment of £5 tomorrow for June and when they receive the payment on the 26th that will be for July can anyone advise or should i contact CCCS and see what they advise?

Any help and advice is much appreciated.

    Regards

Contact CCCS, they are your go between now. If you start making payments to one creditor would it be seen as unfair to the others? I don't know, but its worth checking in first.

    Hi hun
Big hugs and sorry you are feeling fed up - hope today is better and no one turned up yesterday -
Things will get better - can you car boot or ebay to generate a bit more cash this month?
sorry not much of a helpful reply - still fighting the flu thing.
    xx
QUOTE=regret70;33368819]feeling completely fed up today. i had a letter saying someone from aqua would visit today, which i was dreading, i havent slept all weekend worrying about the post and someone knocking the door. anyway i went out for the day with hubby and no one seems to have called although as we pulled round the corner to home there was a van blocking the drive. cant say how sick i felt. luckily it wasnt them. not sure what time i have to stay sat on the settee watching out of the window for now! i think probably 8pm and im in the clear???

anyway i appear to only have £60 to last me 4 weeks, including food and petrol. things are pretty rubbish at the moment. :(

hope you are all feeling a bit more cheerful![/QUOTE]

    Morning all!

Andy - I send all my tokens at the same time now, I sent my first ones to co-incide with the due date with a letter saying that from then on they would recieve payment on or around 1st of each month, no one has complained so far! Hope things go well at the hospital with lil man xxx

Vic - to the ankle! Get BF to get you lots of ice cream :rotfl:

Regret - :grouphug: Hugs hon, and remember that if someone does turn up you can tell them to sling their hook for trespassing (although usually they're quite nice and will go away once you mention CCCS/Payplan). Have you called them?

Gabs - thanks for the choccy cake :D! On the car issue, I think it depends how desperate you are to get one. I know I couldn't be without a car so would buy what I can afford rather than save up to get something that may be more reliable. Having said that, I agree with Prof Pat, all second hand cars can be a bit of a risk. Is there such a thing as an AA car check out there?

Eyeopener - Well done not taking the secured loan! So glad to hear things are levelling out for you :j!

Prof Pat - that list is looking good!! Glad BoS sorted one account out for you, here's hoping they sort the other two before too long. Its also good to hear PayPlan are working so well for you :D!

Mikon - speak to CCCS. I expect they will tell you not to worry. Am sure someone else (maybe LJM?) had issues with Next flapping about their due dates but they will soon terminate you (or whatever it is that Next do) so the due date won't be of such importance anymore. Sure CCCS will advise you - they've seen it all before ;)

Mama - hope you shake the cold soon :grouphug:

And :hello: PDD, Teddy, Natty, LJM and everyone :D

The sun is out down here :j so me and DB will be mostly found digging the garden!

    Happy Hump Day :D xxx

    Morning All

Sun is shining, and its only money, let's all have a day when we try not to stress about the pesky stuff. We are trying to pay what we owe, so what exactly can they do?????

Thanks LJM, foot is fine during the day (I sit at a desk all day!) but just aches a fair bit after walk/train to/from work :( I really miss the running too (something I thought I'd NEVER say!!).
