Thanks LJM, foot is fine during the day (I sit at a desk all day!) but just aches a fair bit after walk/train to/from work
I really miss the running too (something I thought I'd NEVER say!!).
Glad to hear you can even walk, I tore the ligaments so badly I couldn't go anywhere for 2 weeks, although I could put some weight on it after about 3/4 days. It's only now after 4 weeks, I am pain free again:eek:Paddle no. 12

How gorgeous is the weather today?!
Just a quick one, CapOne seem to be completely ingnoring me, in fact (and there may still be time) I haven't received my most recent statement. Very odd....I'm not saying I miss them...just odd!
Also, re Next, they were fine with me when I spoke to them over then phone and accept straight away (CCCS seem to be the magic word!). They then sent me a form to sign outlining first 3 months payments (April, May, June) and they've just sent me another of these forms for (July, Aug, Sept). Statements were a bit all over the place a first (oh, how they love red!) but seem to have settled down. HTH.
Have a good day! xxPaddle No 16

I just hope it's all better soon, I'm doing a 5k in July and need to keep up my training!Paddle No 16

So I have gone crying to CCCS (by email) about Next so hopefully they can point me in right direction. Like Mikon, I assumed that the payment due at the start of the month would be covered by the CCCS payment on the 24th of the previous month, but that seems to be too difficult for Next to cope with.Paddle no. 12

I don't seem to have got some statements too, must keep better track!
What is your payment due date for Next? I got the same as you but they don't seem to have acknowledged the first payment. They have now sent the same thing again. First it was May, June July, now July, Aug, Sept. Its the adding on of charges that angers me while they sort themselves out:mad::mad::mad:Paddle no. 12

Thanks all for your comments.
no one turned up to the door thankfully but i spent all night jumping at the sound of cars going past.
rang cccs today, they sent my offers on 21st may but they havent heard anything from any of my creditors. the creditors i have spoken to have said they havent recieved anything and are getting impatient now. i have had a few letters from DCAs now as well.
i did a car boot on monday, i baked some cupcakes to sell ( i have been getting orders from work and friends too) and i sold all 30 of them, my husband has said we can have a go next weekend of setting up a stall for just cupcakes so hopefully that will make some pennies. i am making cupcakes for birthday presents now as everyone seems to love them loads and i have a friend whos twins are 1 next week, i cant really afford to but a present so ive offered to make their cakes instead.
anyway hope everyone is okay and no gremlins or injuries today!LBM- may2010:A0 -
Afternoon everyone
Received letter from Barclays Bank today, they have refused my offer and terminated my account. They have informed me that they will be referring my overdraft to a DCA who will be in contact with me shortly.
Quite a worry that a DCA is now involved anyone been down this route with Barclays?
I knew my good run would come to an end.
As for NEXT sent a PO off today for £5 which will cover junes payment it had to be paid by the 8th so I thought this route would maintain stability.

If its been refered to a DCA Mikon, wont that mean that charges and interest will be frozen? Just pay them instead of Barclays, although at this point it will probably be barclays in house DCA!.I'm Debt Free :j 2/09/2013

Mikon - I echo E2, getting passed to a DCA is good news! HSBC had to pass me over to their DCA before they could stop interest and they have been so easy to deal withPaddle #8 DFW Nerd #12840

Eyeopener 2 thanks for the response.
I am tempted to write to them and ask them to reconsider my offer after all I will have more disposable income in 2yrs. I have banked with them for 25yrs and the first sign of trouble and they ditch you. I just get worried when DCA are mentioned I have visions of them constantly ringing, knocking at my door all that.
