Hello you wonderful DMP Paddlers! Welcome Anna!:hello:

Had a bit of a cuffufle (not sure thats a word)..with Payplan this week. Had appointment for the "next stage" of DMP on Tuesday lunchtime. Left work in time for the 1pm call..no call. Went to sit in coffee shop, lost signal. Went outside, no-where to sit....went into shopping centre (not to make any purchases:D) and lost signal again:mad:! I looked like a private detective, wondering in and out, phone to ear, looking behind shoulder for work collegues :rotfl:. Finally rang them and their systems were down! Anyway, my case officer, lovely lady, said that it would be better to have a call after work next Thursday as she wasn't keen I was talking about DMP out in the open.
So the wait continues but I intend to send my "I'm in a DMP, here's a quid postal order, letter" tomorrow. So basically the creds will get this even though I've made my contractual payments this month. Hope I'm not putting them on too much advance notice:). Day off tomorrow which I will switch over my DD's to new account for the end of May.

I can't help but thinking though, my DFD is miles, light years away and a bit jittery about this. I need to get some reassurance from Payplan next week that this will not weaken my position because of this.:(.

Great news on 7 out of the 8 Prof! You might just have to see if they've accepted by the statements! That's been the case with at least half of ours although some seem not to stop interest until after receiving a payment from cccs/pp and then a further period of time too. RBS in particular. We are at the stage of chasing Santandurrrr who said they had accepted in one of the few letters and would stop interest but are still adding despite a call last month to question that statement too... we'll keep plodding along!

My news is that 7 out 8 have accepted DMP, no news re. interest frozen apart from MBNA x 2, awaiting others.

Go Prof, go prof, go prof:T Hope they confirm interest is frozen soon for you! Great news re MBNA though! I had heard they can be a mare so that's excellent news.

Indeed Mama, when you think of all the communication issues in setting the DMP up, phone calls from different depts not knowing what's going on, etc then I suppose it's no surprise that there are post set up communication breakdowns.

Tried to keep up with you with quick reads and the thanks button! Been Nurse Mummy again!!!! DD again! Throat Again, just waiting for the littlie to get it too, though DS the Elder is coughing and spluttering!

Welcome Newbbies! Big Dodgy hugs:grouphug: It will get lots easier honestly, PDD has as always given calm and reassuring words....arm yourself with your CCCS /payplan number and be ready to repeat it over and over if the collections dept phone you are doing the right thing, we are doing the best we can and breathe!

PDD - you are a force of nature!! Super positive lots of lovely posts you are a star!:T:T...I hope your tineeweenee business men have all behaved for you today

Pollywoggle - Water seems to move up and down for us every year - they can never find their own meter let alone get a good average for us! SO annoying:mad: it'll all balance out and we'll get our budgets right!

Brokepaolo - our second month of tokens did see a lot of phone action, but it was just stating the facts, and repeating them...cccs number sent a token payment, you'll receive £** on the 25th of the month the dmp starts etc...no so much hardball as the ball just bouncing around a lot with people who weren't very good at catching it!

LJM - You've said it all for me...though the toys an the clothes are the worst here, sadly can't go with you on the seasonal table linen:rotfl:.....would never iron anything for the table to wear!? Can't be doing with the stuff we do....
Baby stuff:(... very tough to let go of, I've started on the baby toys on ebay - sad sending off stuff for a couple of quid but someone else needs it, or thinks they do! Just trying to keep a very recycled head about it all! Hows the ankle doing - now you're a week or so on I can say I've been told torn ligaments are more painful than broken bones....have I got your injury right?:o No way I can back track and find your post now!

True - late but :rotfl:ConDem:rotfl:clever you! Whay aren't they using that on the news????Be more careful - sending you virtual aloe vera plant to keep at chippy incase of further burning incidents!

Gabriella - hows things today hun? Sending more hugs your way:grouphug:
Hope they've all forgotten your number properly now Ted - hope everythings good with you today.
Big hugs to everyone, wanted to try and catch up with everyone but
Time to go can hear rumblings upstairs....so :wave:New, Prof, Albie, Andy
...and Nat where are you love? Hope everythings ok with you and you little ones.

Thanks for asking mama, you got the injury right and the ankle is doing better now. I can walk around with a bit of a limp as long as I don't try to twist, which is fine at home but ridiculous looking if I need to go out:rotfl:I heard the same thing about ligaments v broken bones, at least I had the good sense to pass out then go into shock so its all a bit blurry, nothing to do with the gas n air they gave me.......:rotfl:

thank you Mamajojo, for acknowledging me, I am giving up and going away now, I had hoped by joining the thread that I would find the support that felt I needed, unfortunatly that doesnt seem to be the case, I have tried to join in with you all, but perhaps my worries were not important, to those who have helped me, on this thread, I thank you very much.
