I doubt it will include transfers, as it says spend £200Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

No, that one is M&Co. It's a store card. Limit on that is £250-750 anyways.
As it stands I applied and got my Marriott card the other day. £4,000 limit. Takes my creation tally to 9! :eek:I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0 -

You must run your accounts well. That's good but I would close them when the promotions end as they're pointless then.0 -
They are all cleared in full every month - only make small purchases on each one every month. Once some stability has been shown (ie: using cards for more than 12-18 months), then I'll close a few of them down. The plan is to keep the one with the lowest APR (Creation at 16.9%) in case I ever need to "spread the cost", keep the one with Nationwide as that will help my internal score with them, and keep the Marriott card as the reward scheme on that is quite nice.I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. I had a postive experince with Creation Credits Card today.
Got my 12mth interest free on purchases card a few months ago.
Missed the first payment as DD not set-up on time. But they sort of said it was their fault and refunded the charges and put me back in the interest free period (I lost it automatically).
Then I went over my credit limit by a few pence and was charged again. I paid off an amount immediately (but 2 days to clear). I called to get the charges cleared but they said no.
I paid off the full balance on the card (less charges). I sent a cheque, with a letter saying I was making a "full and final settlement" - reverse the charges and to close the account.
They took the payment but didn't reverse the charges and the account remained open.
I called on 2 different occasions, saying having accepted the cheque, they are now obliged to cancel the charges (don't know if I am actually right though). First time was at the weekend and they asked I call again during the week, when CS open.
But CS said nothing they could do, I just had to pay up but they could close the account in the meantime.
Got put through to account closures and I was asked why I was leaving. I explained the situation.
CS asked if they cancelled the charges woudl I stay? I said only if they could offer me 12mths again.
They said 6 was the best they could do.

I just got a Marriott account through today, I applied a week ago an got the usual 7-10 days response online.
7.5k limit @22.9apr
I have went from Vanquis (£3k limit)
Capone prOgress (£1200)
Tesco (2k)
To this
I got accepted for a substantial mortgage in between this and the tesco card. My last nasty was dated 29-12-04 as satisfied and i haven't had a single charge since.
It was the rewards scheme that I wanted as it gives you 10k points if you spend 200 quid, I'd like to take the wife away Xmas shopping for a night in a city later In the year so it basically gives you a basic nights accommodation if I'm reading it right?
Dunno if this helps anyone but it seems a decent product, please do correct me if I'm missing anything though0
