Thats not a great offer? How many Sygma cards have you tried?

I have one sygma card which is flybe,to be honest think it must of been all them searches i have on equifax.
Not to fussed though, its nice to know that in 6 months i can apply again for another prime card.
i would be more worried sitting on these threads with defaults, ccj arrange to pay credit reports, and have to wait for everything to drop off.
well done on your 2cards bluebirds

Cheers Star, did you try the silver card rather than the charity one? I got the better of the APR's on that card?

Sutton was accepted for the Silvercard £1000 @ 24.9% and he has a 2 year old default.

It is quoted at the top that Sygma is not Sub-Prime.
I disagree with interest rates of 24.9% as you are stating.

Anything over 20% in my view is for a high risk borrower on sub prime credit.

Sygma offer a 3 tier system, obviously someone that has a default is a risk in any lenders eyes and such they will pay "rates for risk" thus the reason why Sutton has been offered an APR of 24.9%

You can have your opinion but it still remains that sygma is NOT sub-prime credit.

Agree fully woody, its just wrong i think being accepted for a prime card should give you prime APR's..
So basically if they are giving 24.9% on there card they see you as a risky customer i think..

What do you expect after making more that 5 applications in 1week? YOU ARE CURRENTLY CLASSED AS A RISK!

Agree with you mate but i would of rather they declined me there and then, its just searches which let me down nothing else.
My flybe is 19.9% which aint to bad..still think sygma are the lower end of prime cards.

Keep it for 3 month once you've made 3-6 month then call up say your gonna leave they'll probably offer you a higher limit and a lower rate!

Just make sure you pay every month in full !
