i applied on friday and got my card today so 7 days for me

And yeah we must live with it and try and get the almighty amex lol

Until I actually visited this forum I didnt even know what a sub prime card was. The ones I have had in my time are Virgin, Barclaycard, Halifax. If I was a shop assistant and someone had come up to me with a Vanquis Card I would probably have assumed it was a posh one

Until you see the Shop Assistant that knows and judges you (like me lol) Its paranoia some people (like i do) believe that people judge you with what type of card you use lol

It so true though you can just picture it saying to your new female friend,lets go to a posh restarant then handing over your vanquis and the cashier thinks what a wally this meal has now cost him 5 times what he has now payed,lol

Just called, my card has already been sent out.

£2000 credit limit,

I only wanted it for a balance transfer going to put most of my balance on there to give me a bit of extra time to clear it

Just applied for the Flybe card with a view to getting rid of my Capital One Classic. Got the 7-10 day response again so heres hoping

Update - Just phoned Flybe on the off chance and they have confirmed the account is open. £2000 and 19.9% :j

2 applications within a week or so and both opened
