Fairly safe bet it will be a £1k limit, that seems to be the norm for the Silvercard

My card came thru this morning looks very nice minimul to say the least lol out of all the sygma cards id say its one of the best if you dont like people to know that your a sub primer this is a one that hides the fact:money:

Agree safc when i had my vanquis i wanted to buy some trainers in jd sports,waited about 20mins for the people at the till to die down b4 i went up with my card..

On these forums id say im a lerker i read a lot and post every now and then. That seems to be the general consensus about sub prime cards especially Vanquis. I also work in a shop and find people do exactly what you say people with sub sub prime cards are hesistant where those with AMEX and Platinum cards hand it over straight away.

Status symbols are everywhere but is it a good idea for them to be in cards??

i say this whilst looking at myself becuase thats hinged me to getting the sygma silver card :rotfl:

I actually quite like my lime green vanquis card, seriously i dont think its too bad

Admittedly i generally use another one in restuarants where you hand cards over but in shops with chip and pin machines i use the vanquis

EDIT - Instant decision for me with the Silvercard app, Flybe got the 7-10 day message

yeah you are right unfortuantly it has come to this that it is a status thing..
Its like if you take a woman out for a first date you would make sure she see your amex card.
but with your vanquis you would make sure you she dont see that..its wrong but that is how it is..

How long after getting the wait 7-10 days message did it take for you guys to find the outcome?

I applied on Saturday but really hate waiting!
