Its vegan by default. There where survey done at the beginning of the plan and this resulted in 3 plans. Plan 1 was a basic cheap eating plan that incorporated meat and cheap eggs. Plan 2 was to incorporate free range eggs, so meat had to be dropped to afford this, so this became a veggie plan. Plan 3 was to incorporate fresh fruit and so cheese and milk has been dropped to afford this and hence this one has become vegan by default. This is because of the £100 limit and Weezl has done a marvelous job of putting all these plans together with this limited budget.

I hope I have explained this right. Plan 1 has just run for 1 month, plan 3 is being worked on now, as its easier than plan 2.

    Chickpea Crumble

Its in the oven. Will let you know later what it tastes like. Last time I did it in 2 x 2 portion containers, as I was using 2 portions and saving 2, but the topping was quite sparce. So this time, I have done it in a larger container and the topping isn't sparce at all.

Just had a peek at your website weezl and I think it looks very good and of course your pictures are great. Its nice to see a price per meal, really hits home how cheap the meals are.

    Until later

evening all :D been busy today getting there with our website.

Sandra, thanks for being nice about it, it is a work in progress but as it has taken nearly 200 hrs (some of them done by my lovely dad:A) I'm ever so glad you don't think it's dreadful :rotfl:

Thanks too for the testing of the crumble again, I look forward to your ready brek version verdict before I go live with it.

Arty, I totally agree about FPS, I have many more thoughts on that :)

Aless, thanks loads for the offer of help with the shopping list:A... How shall I get that to you?

Lesley, a PMing chat would be fab, thanks loads, I'll have a look when your light is on and send you a chat request? Sneak previews are found at the usual place, right hand side, new linkie saying cheap family recipes.

But this version doesn't navigate properly yet, so you have to use your 'back' button.

Hope everyone knows what that means :o:D

    thanks :o:)

If we had adverts we wouldn't be able to link to it from here, which would be an ultimate dream of mine, ie for us to be able to recommend it to people we 'meet' on MSE. But MSE won't link with anything with adverts.

    So no.

But thanks Mr arty for thinking of my finances :A

I know they can take some time, having done my own in the past.

The chickpea crumble was a success, tasted just like before, you couldn't tell it wasn't proper oats. I will post picture and amended recipe later.

So I have your address now, if you want me to send you the book I won. I have tested the 4 recipes that I wanted to.

Ok weezl-just thought I'd mention it. He is more commercially minded than I am. I agree with you that linking from MSE is important.

    Is it live yet?
