Thought it would be easier to keep Kitty's plan and Shirley's plan separate as we have new people trying plan 1, and to keep us getting confused :D.
yes that makes a lot of sense! Does everyone agree?

Yeah a new thread would prob be a good idea. Well done to everyone for the past month and how much posting has been done today?
Looking forward to trying some of planner 3 but ex will be demanding some meat this month and wouldnt go veggie if his life depended on it but is happy to try out some of the recipes and has enjoyed this month a lot more than he expected. He was surprised at the quality and quantity of the meals so hopefully Bob will be the same.
Well done to a sucessful experiment Weezl you should be very proud of yourself at achieving so much in so little time:T:T:T

I did eventually tell them they were part of a social experiment:)

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:thank you poobear...after a particularly ****tty day that made me laugh out loud! What was their response to the revelation?!!

Weezl...re the shopping list I do think that it would be covered by a disclaimer at the start saying that if they have limited freezer space that they should consider the lodgistics before buying the lot....that way youve flagged it as an issue and its up to people to use their nouse!

Big hug for you...now as a wee celebration/reward why not give em a bit of fergs gorgeous bum shuffle or pizza eating!!

  • I like to shop weekly too, but then I did live a 5 min walk from a mega Mr T. I know this is probably deeply sad, but it was my form of entertainment, or something like. I liked to have a wander about seeing what was new, and apparently trendy and always on the look out for the mega reductions and whoopsies. Less shopping, more like me vs Mr T :-).

Sorry to put a damper on it, but I was once told by a social services manager not to use nitty gritty anymore as it's root was in the slave owners defiling young slaves. Sorry guys, but I've never been able to read it since without cringing. Wouldn't want to put anyone off the plan for the sake of the title. Mine is one opinion in many and I will cope if you continue with it, I'd just prefer you not to :-). ( I am also aware that lots of the expressions we use also have dodgy roots :-))

    Wow :(

Not that I doubted you QOS... but I did google just to see, for myself
And it certainly does put a very bad spin on the title now :(

"Kitty needs to keep her dosh in her Mitty" ... though on reflection, I think that would draw in a whole different type of "tester":eek:

    How about ...
    Limited Dosh, Vegan Nosh ?

Or words to that effect ?
    Maybe ? :)

    I will keep thinking.........
I expect someone will have something more catchyier :)

QOS, thanks for that, I honestly had no idea the phrase had a horrible provenance.

Well done Potty as ever for some cheeky alternatives :rotfl:

'we're all feeling pity for impoverished Kitty!'

'For Kitty- whose finances are shhhh.......... ocking'
