How about melting an easter egg and mixing it with cornflakes. We always make this when i am fed up of half eaten eggs all over the place.
  • We're in manchester if that's anywhere near? You'd be most welcome to a box of food to tide you over, let me know if so! x

It might be worth you contacting your DMP company and see if they could refund you say £50 of your payment. We did this with CCCS one month and although creditors got a lot less than they were agreed to receive, CCCS did write to the creditors to explain. Repaying debts are important but not as important as starving you and your family for another week, honest mistakes happen with budgeting sometimes and with your Council Tax restarting, it is understandable.

    Hi there

Really sorry to hear about the Asda expereince.

Have you checked out OS? There are a number of really cheap recipe ideas there.

Make a list of what you have and post it on OS.

Check all pockets, down the back of the sofa, handbags etc. Can some one lend you money until payday?

Can you eat at relatives and friends houses?

If you have a small amount of money, and some food in - then if you stick to whoops/reduced to clear stuff - you should get to Tuesday.

Been here before myself - parents bought me some shopping

Sorry - just seen your food list.

You will be fine - if you are still struggling to feed the family with what you have - post the list over on OS - like a food SOA. The crew over there are absolutely brilliant at making a little go a long way.

Check out MBAZ thread on feeding the family for a month on £20.

    Best Wishes

Can I just say. I have no idea on cooking, I am on a DMP myself.
A few years ago when I was a kid the bank Froze all my mum's money a week after my dad died as they were on a voluntary trust deed and they saw his life insurance paid in. So I know how bad this is to be penniless and from the kids perspective, they will understand.

But this thread is really showing what people can do and how supportive they are. It is warming enough to put a lump in your throat, I am in the Aberdeen area so if you need some extras just let me know.
