How'd you go with the chips? 1400 is a sensible amount to eat when you are trying to lose weight....you don't want to go the opposite and not eat enough and then your body ends up holding on to every bit of fat you have to keep itself going.... = scales stay the same!!! That'd be frustrating...you seem to be finding a nice balance though and keep that wedding in mind, should keep you motivated :-) xx

    It was fantastic!

I got to hold a formula one steering wheel and a wheel nut gun!

He took us into one of the travelling motorhomes. We saw the design of the next years car but weren't allowed to take photos in there!!

They have the two drivers cars back in the workshop and we got to stand like 60cm away from them while the engineers were working.

It is mental what they have to do after every race!! Every single part has a number on it and each one has a kilometre life and this is logged. So for EVERY single little component they can take that number and find out how many km's it has done, at which track and with with driver etc! It was amazing

Got given some free hats :-) Will get pics on facebook.

Great MSE wise yesterday. OH managed to drop £4 off our broadband package a month and we realised he actually earns £10 more a month than we thought. So our budget is actually £10 better. We have just added this to our fuel budget as we think it is more like £70 a month. We budget £60.

We knew going to Silverstone would eat into our 'left over' money but OH had £50 refund put into his account by BT. Not sure why. They might have made a mistake but if not that covers the fuel and breakfast we had :D

Right better think of something to have for dinner! x

Glad to hear you had a fantastic time!! It reminded me of the last time I went to Rally GB for the WRC round in Wales, we got VIP Ford tickets and were able to go into their hospitality area, meet the drivers and watch them working on the cars. The trucks they had there carried enough parts to completely rebuild 2 cars if need be, that's crazy!!

Well done on the broadband savings, I am sure we had a letter from Sky a while back about saving money if we committed to another contract, might have to dig that out and check it!

Hope you and the family have a great weekend :D

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

    Thanks Jody.

Yeah in F1 they have to have enough parts to rebuild the car 5 times over! If they have only a week between races then they stay out in that part of the world and have to take enough to rebuild the car 10 times!

The fair is in the village!! For two weeks!!!! The kids are already moaning about wanting to go. But just heard MIL has some tickets for free rides!! Very DFW!!! :D

On the search for wedding bands! :D xxxx

Did my scratches today but looks like they have ditched the having two goes on a sunday thing :(

£10 from scratches went through to my account. So that got transferred into my Xmas saving account :D

Back on track with my surveys but been a bit unlucky that i have only been accepted into one for like the last 3 days! Usually i get through to at least one a day

Just booked travelodge for this wedding in Aug. Glad it is finally sorted. And one of our friends is travelling with us so will share the fuel cost which is great.

Grocery shopping on track so far. Got to add up the reciepts from yesterday and update sig.

Joined the library yesterday! Hoping that will stop OH and I buying books a bit. I was a bit worried as i have a book at home that was meant to be returned in 2004 :eek::eek::eek::eek: The kids loved reading in there so i a nice activity for them. The library holds activity afternoons in the summer hols which might be good.

OH and very pleased that OH's bestman has booked his holiday for the wedding!!!!!! We were getting a bit concerned as he hadn't done it but he text OH and said it was booked!!! One less thing to worry about. I am thinking today i may write/type a list out of wedding things to sort!

Right off to wash up i think!

Have a great sunday everyone! x

    Not a very DFW sunday!

Found out that DD2 has headlice!! eurgh!!! So that was £15 for for hair stuff!!! - unbudgetted for. Then we spend £33 on school uniform but had £9 left in the budget. So £24 had to come out of our 'left over' money.

Have a REALLY busy week at work. So need to leave in a min to get in early!

Hi Kel, sorry to hear about DD2's visitors - I can't believe how much they charge for the stuff nowadays. DS still often picks them up from school.

Have a good day at work x
This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x
