    Right!! Hello!!!

I feel like i have really been off track for the last couple of weeks - both diet and exercise and money saving.

I think i can still make the target for my NSD's and my grocery budget is JUST under and we definitely don't need anything else for the week :j So they are two good points.

My 'spare' money has just disappeared this month.

For july i am going to print out our budget and each spend we make i will allocate it to a part of the budget. So my own version if a spending diary. July is also a 5 week month so NEED to do this.

Bad points - over the last two weeks i have eaten loads!!! And not exercised except for 20 mins yesterday morning. Not too bad on the food as i have only gained a pound overall - just not exercising is the big thing. I am finding it hard to get back into it. And i am more tired as a result

Have only about £30 to make as an overpayment this month. :(

Though i managed to make ebay sales of £37 and paid it off of littlewoods. This means it is down to £142!!!! :j:j:j:j:j No interest! So now i can concentrate on the wedding debt.

Also received £19 cheque from Orange as my refund. When this is cashed i will pay it off the wedding debt!

Trying to be DFW with shopping for a dress to wear to a friends wedding. Founds some in the sale in littlewoods. I am being crafty. I have ordered the ones i like on my account so will have to pay the £3.95 delivery. However i will return them all and then order the dress and shoes i like through a new account my brother is going to open. £25 off a £40 spend :D He also owes me a lot as i have helped him a lot this month. Even though i am not putting anything other than £3.95 on my account in the long run it still feels like a step back!

OH's wage is back to normal this week. Hopefully it will work out well. Though he does have a habit of keeping money to himself. Found out the other day he had been given money towards website hosting. Didn't even mention it. Wasn't brought up asking what we should do with it. If he was short of money i wouldn't mind him using it, would just like it mentioned!

He will be about £200 better off a month. Not sure how to sort it. May give him half the shopping and then we are both £100 better off. Will have to trust he will be frugal and at the end of the month will have a chunk of money to put towards the wedding.

Extra spends in July - Uniform for the kids, extra grocery week - making budget £20 more. Spent that this month for next months food so actually out of next month will still be £200

Need to start picking up the exercise slowly. Sorting July's mealplan this week so will factor in some low fat meals!!!!!!

That's me! Will try and update more regularly so it isn't such an essay!

    Nighty night x

Hi Kel, you are still doing so well, don't lose heart at all, we have a week or few days where things don't go 100% to plan :)

The extra wage will be a godsend and it sounds like you will make sure it is put to good use :D and just remember that any overpayment, no matter how small is still an overpayment!

Hope you and your family are well xx

    Evening all.

    NSD today!!! woop woop.

Today i made my end of month over payment of £25.50 to the wedding debt!

A cheque for £6 for DD's school trip came out which i had forgotten so it wasn't quite £30!

Though this month we have to pay the remaining £154 deposit on the holiday so that will reduce our chances of overpaying too much. But will be a huge woohoo to not putting it on the card.

Had a good day food wise. No snacking. About to have beef casserole for dinner with lots of veg. Cross trainer this morning.

Need to bake cakes for the school fete tomorrow! I had forgotten until today!!!

Spending diary starts now!!!!! :D:D:D:D Payday today!!!

DD2 is 4 and still in nappies at night, signed up for a free sample of a pyjama pant. Got the sample with a voucher for a free pack from Mr T's! :j Bargain!!

    Morning all!!

The cakes were great. Made 12 but 7 fit on a plate perfectly so sent 7 in and kept 5 at home for the kids. Only a gesture for the fayre. Got up at 6am to ice them. Then when we got to the fayre after school my girls wanted our cakes to we bought 3 of the 7. One had already gone. Then my mum came out and she had bought the last 3!!! Seems a bit strange to make them and buy half back ourselves!!! :D:D:D:D The did look beautiful!!! even if i do say so my self! :)

Good news. Our car has been signed over to us from OH's work!!! woop woop! That had been a worry for a while.

Also OH got his June paycheck. He is back on normal wage but didnt start getting his 5th day back until the second week of June. But his boss couldn't be bothered to work it out so just paid him the normal wage instead. So got £50 more than expect - a day off for free really! :D

Only spent £19 of wage check so far.

Spent only £7 at the school fayre but my step dads parents gave the girls £1 each so i only spent £5 which wasn't bad. Went from 3.30-6.30 so was a great 'activity' for not much spent. My Uncle is a policeman and was meant to be in the stocks to throw wet sponges at him!! So i took a bit extra money :D but then he chicken out!! :rotfl:

Today is all about food shopping!!! Finishing off our mealplan when we get home from ballet and then working out our shopping list for Mr T and Mr S using my supermarket . com - then shopping. Probably will be half our grocery budget spent today!!!

    I hope everyone is well.

Hi Kel , did you save me a cake?:p
I've ordered a cupcake book from the bookpeople, it's £6 and you get some silicone cupcake thingys with it :) I won't be able to eat them when I bake them, but I just enjoy baking really (making mess ;) )

:j:j:j to OH's car being signed over, that's great news :D:D

Hope you've had a great day xx

  • Hope your shopping went well - we went the other day and spent the whole months budget but we do have fully stocked cupboards, fridge and freezer so other than milk we shouldn't have to buy anything
