Hope DD1 is feeling brighter today Kel xThis time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
Fingers crossed x0 -
Hellloooo diaryland!!!! Haven't posted on here since friday!
Right a catch up!!!Checked Eon online today and with new meter readings my D/D has been adjusted from £98 to £89!! Woohoo!! £9 in my pocket a month! woopwoop!
My ebaying plan on free listing day was a failure!!! Got home late and just fancied sitting down with OH. Only had a few things that would have been higher than 99p starting price so would have only saved myself about £1! So not too bad. I relisted some things though.
OH has a phone he isnt using but the battery is broken and so is the case. Looked on ebay. I can buy the case for 99p and battery for £2.43. Both inc delivery. We can then either get £15 cash from a website or £17 argos vouchers. Or on ebay they are sometimes going for just over £20 + postage! So worth a go on ebay and then if it doesnt sell then send it to a website.
Camping on saturday!!! Fingers crossed the weather stays nice. One of the families that were going can't make it now and have given us their pitch and don't want the £10 deposit. I pushed her to give me her address so i could forward on a cheque but she told me to enjoy a few drinks on her! Though this camping came with a purchase!!! Our new stove!!!!!!! It has two burners and a grill for toast underneath! Exactly what we need with having the kids with us. Cost £37 but a great investment as it took ages to cook for all of us last time. Can't wait to use it!!
A whole week off next week!!! I can't wait!!! :j:j:j Monday and tuesday we will still be away camoing. Weds i have to revise for exam on thursday and friday both kis are at school / childminders all day so i can get on with sorting things around the house!!!
Spent 5 hours on saturday sorting the kids rooms! Took ALL of their toys out and put them all back in their correct places!!! My back was killing me by bedtime!!! Felt good to get it done though
WI this morning showed i had stayed the same!!:(:(:(:( After over 5 hours of exercise in the last week and eating pretty well i am disappointed! I haven't bothered doing the cross trainer this morning as i feel so disheartened.
Ordered days out with some tesco vouchers! I thought i had better order them so we have them here! Otherwise we will hit a lovely weekend and not have the vouchers yet!
Bit of a spends weekend! DD1 needed new PE trainers! She has been in the same one for 3 years as she doesnt grow very much!! They were £12.99 so not too bad. Bought presents worth £14. £4 was budgeted but £10 was for a cousins child who i don't usually buy for but we were going to his party. Then the kids picked up 2 tops each at £2 a top so £8 spent there! Not too bad though as usually i shop in next and would spend £8 on one top! They do need a couple of tees. So there went £35 frittered way in little over an hour!!:mad: On the flipside though - SIL took DD1 out and bought her some reef sandals - she needed some summer shoes so that is now one expense i don't have!
Decided perhaps i need to have a proper budget. I have the SOA but really i could do with printing off a budget and then each spend allocating to a certain part of the budget. Then i can see where i am overspending. As in i could count bbq foods for friends as grocery if we are doing well with food that month or as entertainment if we are not going out to do much else. I'll definitely sort this today!
Found out from my SIL to be that she thinks MIl is looking at £500 to give us for the wedding. Not that i'm ungrateful but they said originally they would pay fr 2 weeks accommodation. This would be more than £500. Also she knows my family are giving about £1400 between them and to do this my Mum will have to work her bottom off for overtime. MIL and FIL combined income is about 3 times higher than my parents. Plus they only have 2 grown up children and my mum has 3 of her 6 children still in school!! So is looking like i may need a second job or not to do do the last year or my AAT until sept 2011 rather than this year - this i don't really want to do but it will cost a grand and there is no funding help anymore!
Pen - thanks for asking - DD1 was fine after a good night sleep! I hate that she suffers with headaches!!! OH had to keep a headache diary as a child. Not nice
Josie - We are going to Anglesey (Capel Coch?) Just hard trying to rally OH's friends together to see if they want to make a fun camping trip or get a cottage! Getting answers out of men is impossible!!
Moose - going the bank holiday weekend in August! Looking forward to it!
Right that is me! A little bit of good news mixed with some not so good!!!
I hope everyone is well xxOrange Fairy

Hellooooooooooo, sorry for the absence, seems like you have been mega busy!!!Evening all
Quick update
Had an okay day. Spent more on a friend for her birthday than i would have liked. I bought something for £12 but then looked at the two things she got from h samuel for my birthday and she spent £25!! So i got something else for £7 and sent it off. Still classing £10 from birthday budget. Any extra has to come out of our left over money.
Went swimming. Was a bit annoyed that a womans baby was sick in the pool - milky sick. And she started splashing it over to where i was swimming!! urgh the pool then stunk of baby vomit! Then she did it again! I got out then which cut my swimming short by 15 mins
Got TC letter today and my overpayment was correct which is great news. That was hanging over me a bit since yesterday
Also remembered we have somehting else to spend on. OH's friend is getting married in North Wales so we need to pay for accommodation. Looking at about £100 - £150 at the mo. £100 if we do two nights in the travelodge. Or up to £150 if we share a cottage with friends for 3 nights over the weekend. Going without the kids which will be nice. Love the girls but OH and I don't get away too much on our own.
Talking of girl, DD1 is poorly. She suffers from headaches quite badly. Not frequently but when she gets them she ends up being sick and sleeps all the time. Told he she doesn't need to go to ballet tomorrow. She can have a restful day and i can get bits ready to put on ebay for free listing on sunday. Was doing that tonight but got drawn into welsh cottages!! I am challenging myself to 10 items on sunday.
Exercise is going well. I have exercised for 5 and a half hours so far this week. Finished my boxing target last night, completed walking yesterday Just an hour on the wii fit over the weekend which i can fit in just fine. Feel annoyed at myself at the mo as i had a fab lolly today and a pack of mentos. Bad willpower! Plus i had a small bit of mash with my tea when i am trying to reduce my potatoe intake!!
Right not such a quick update
I hope everyone is well
Will hopefully get chance to catch up on everyones diaries tomorrow morning
I need my bed now
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Sorry to hear about DD, a weekend away sounds like it would do you the world of good to spend some time together!
:j for TC, it's horrible not knowing whether it's right or not!Hellloooo diaryland!!!! Haven't posted on here since friday!

That was a big update. I am sorry to hear about the possible lack of wedding funding, I know you could really do without having to take a 2nd job. Is there anyway your OH could outright ask how much his parents are contributing so you know where you stand? I know it might seem cheeky but as you need to plan it would be useful to know!
Are you all excited about camping yet? I really hope you have lovely weather!!

Excited about camping!! The stove turned up today but i couldn't walk it home as it was too heavy. Will have to get it tomorrow with OH.
Had an NSD!!!!!!
Got our tesco vouchers through for 2 days out! :j Just need a couple of sunny sundays
OH is out for a meal tonight. But for an indian. I was invited but am not a huge fan of indian so if i was gonig to spend 'entertainment' money and indian would not be my choice! DFW!
Maybe i'll get an early night as i feel exhausted!!!Orange Fairy

Been a bit rubbish at posting this week.
Not very MSE today - bought a panini for lunch! Though not swimming after work so that makes up for the money :A
Some good news - my bosses are discussing whether they will fund half of my course for next year. If they do it will be really nice of them as the level next year is above what i do at work. So i don't need to do it for my job. In fact they are paying to help me toward stepping up career wise to a job elsewhere!
Just come home from work.
About to start packing for camping. A few of the families are up there tonight so a bit of a shame that they would have had a day together before we get there! Nevermind. Will leave about 3pm tomorrow when OH finishes work.
Better start packing i suppose!
NSDs going well and hardly anything spent on food. :j:j:j:jOrange Fairy

Have a fantastic time camping LK!! Had I not have been pregnant we would have done some of that this year, I have missed it but would have been uncomfortable if we'd have attempted it. Enjoy your new stove, sounds like the one we have but got it at end of season last year so still not used it.
