    hi cafcgirl

Glad you've got payplan set up now... It will be nice too to have longer with baby Landen

CMD - one day a week back is pretty cool, hope you manage to get something sorted workwise for when you need it

Tirl - you are doing so well plugging away - it is probably hard for you to see but you are a great example of perseverance and being in there for the long haul!

We've just got back financially to where we were in March.... hopefully we can really make inroads in our debt from this point on - altho october if pretty much a wipeout in debt repayment terms as need to pay the gym and motorbike bills! so all the pressure is on November and December now.... At least we have started getting fit now... so as well as hopefully being debt free next summer, we will be a few pounds lighter weight wise too!

Hey, how's everyone doing with the challenges?

I ended up selling 6/11 items on ebay and getting just over £100 for them. I really wished a bit more, the lens that I though could go for about 100 quid only fetched £62, but I can't really complain, it is all extra free money as they were given to me by a friend. The thing is, it won't help me pay cc or o/d as I've been looking to get a proper waterproof jacket and yesterday BF saw it advertised 50% off so had to get it, and guess what, it cost a £100. So still in the same position debt wise.

Thanks savingh for your kind words! Really don't feel very examplary anymore, must stop using the cc! (really need a new sports bra for running though and no money...so what is one supposed to do???). I think I'll try to unearth a few more things to ebay, get those cd's burnt and sold and get them damn books online as well!

Hope everyone's doing great with their various challenges!!! Good luck, we can and will do it!!!

3 for 2 toys in Argos CAFC. The prices are really good too. I sorted Max out this morning. Haven't gone overboard but wanted to get him some stuff that will be educational and stimulate him.

Nice one on the money Tirlittan. At least you got the coat for free in a sense :)

Nothing wrong with getting him nothing. Lots of parents don't.

I just got Max stuff that will help with play and development. Children's toys are way cheaper than what I thought they were. This year though, I am not going to get OH much and ask him to do the same with me. Other years we have gone overboard but there is nothing I want/need this year.

Yes, it was nice to have the jacket for 'free' but unfortunately it won't help my cc bill. :(

Is the bill quite high or is it manageable?

£200, more than I'd like it to be. It's not a problem as such or in itself but that card is not supposed to be used for stuff I can't pay off in the end of the month. And o/d is about £150. I just don't have that money so why have I used it? Some of it is move related though which couldn't be helped and some of it went towards bf's b'day things.
