Morning all!
Got paid my maternity benefit today so have been able to pay £150 off my Virgin card. Not as much as I would like but my keeping in touch days money should kick in next month and I will be able to pay off some more.
My work contract ends at the beginning of Dec but they are talking about extending it for another few months so I would continue to work 1 day a week (spreading the work over the evenings) which would bring me up until Max is nearly 1, which is great! Am currently looking at part-time jobs as well. Ideally I would like a 3 day week but if nothing is coming up in Ireland for OH I might push him to start looking for work in this area as his wages could be much better, it's just the company he works for don't pay well.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Morning ladies!
Wow PAID, you are doing a grand job! Almost there. I wish I could be debt free end of this year...hey ho, it won't be too long (just another year and a bit at this rate).
Have watchers on all my ebay items though we know that doesn't mean much unless they bid;however, one is definitely going but not for much atm. Fingers crossed.
Good luck to all.DEBT FREE OCTOBER 2012!Proud to have dealt with my debts!0 -

its getting there slowly. we seem to still have a lot of boxes that need unpacking which i hate so i've been putting it off. but i will get some done today cos i am sick of looking at them. you can hardly get in my study without having to climb over stuff  but my money seems to be going the right way even if my diet and unpacking aren't.
how's max?? DD is 3 in 2 weeks. can you believe it??Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -

Wow - 3!!! The time is flying!
Max is good. He is waking up in the middle of the night even since I started to wean him (just before he turned 6 months) and I have been feeding him a bottle but I have decided it is time to get tough so when he woke up at 3am this morning I didn't give him anything and eventually got him back to sleep after 30 mins. He slept then until 6.30am so he must be just waking out of habit. He was sleeping through for 10 hours a night so I knew he could do it, he just liked a warm bottle at around 3am every morning!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

that does sound like habit. if he was really hungry he wouldn't have gone back to sleep. well done you for sticking to your guns though. it's soooooo much easier to give in but better in the long run if you don't.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Oh I can tell you I was so tired I just felt like giving him the bottle but I just stayed in the room with him and stroked his face, then ended up pushing him up and down in the buggy a few times so he dropped off which is probably not a great habit either but one thing at a time!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

once he learns that he won't get a bottle then he won't wake up so the buggy thing won't be so much of an issueGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000
