£200, more than I'd like it to be. It's not a problem as such or in itself but that card is not supposed to be used for stuff I can't pay off in the end of the month. And o/d is about £150. I just don't have that money so why have I used it? Some of it is move related though which couldn't be helped and some of it went towards bf's b'day things.

I know the feeling. Sometimes things happen but at least you have stopped it at this amount and are aware of it.

My problem is burying my head.

Well, I've buried my head a bit cos I still bought the jacket...but it was too good an offer to resist and I didn't buy anything else though I saw some nice running capris and socks that I'd also quite like/need.

  • Hope everyone had a good weekend :)

Finally organised myself and have paid OH's relocation money (£2300) off my RBS card. I get paid some back to work days alongside my maternity pay at the end of October so I hope to get a 0 balance on that card & hpefully get a 0% offer, of which I can transfer some money over from my Virgin card. Virgin are still looking into my complaint with them re: the 0% balance transfer so fingers crossed I get a positive response from them soon.

    Hiya all.

I've started the transfer from paypal to my a/c. That'll pay almost half what's on my cc. Now just have to find the other half to pay it off. Another free listing weekend on ebay so took advantage of that and put the ones on that didn't sell last time, fingers crossed they'll go. Would've had some other bits and pieces as well but I just find doing the listing so annoying I could't be asked.

3 weeks still for pay day. :( We've started paying the food on bf's tesco cc (he's been doing this previously) so in effect we're paying after we've eaten the food. Which will help a lot this month as I'm struggling and trying to keep off o/d. I think I might dip into it towards the end of the month, but shouldn't be anywhere near as bad as if I'd had to buy food as well. Need to be very careful though.

    tirl'

Have you and bf thought about doing an approved food order? Its great for some of the cupboard basics (and more to be honest) and you get some fantastically cheap deals, for case prices.
Its always hard when you've just moved, as there always seems to be something to pay for, or youre still paying for the expense of moving 3 months on.... but im sure you'll do great :)

  • Hello all

Sorry for yet another long absence, have been crazy busy and have also been away with oh. Needless to say the weight loss bit of my aims isn't going so well... But the debtbusting is going just dandy and I am still on track for before 18th December. I have done a bit of decluttering, but there is so do much more to go!!

Well done to everyone that is making great progress and a gentle nudge up the rear of the 'can do betters' like me!!
