In the meantime, I have finished off the Scholl footcream. WIBA? No. The cream was lovely and thick, and felt very intense, but results were disappointing, and my feet don't feel as soft as they did with the Boots cream, so I'll be picking some of that up later this afternoon.

Did anyone listen to radio 2 this afternoon? About 2.30 they were discussing how many people buy too much stuff. It was quite interesting but I only managed to catch a couple of minutes so I don't know how long it went on for.Must try to find a podcast and post the link here.
Found this (once you click play, you can then drag the curser along, I dragged it to about 39 mins in and had a listen) - can I add I didnt know you could drag in this way to adjust/fast forward through things like this! :rotfl:

At last I am taking the time to post on this thread again. I really enjoy reading everyone's posts but rarely post myself. A big welcome to all newbies. This thread has definetely changed the way I am shopping.
Since joining in mid January I have saved £25 in a pot for which I will buy myself a nice treat, not sure yet what. My stash has been reduced and I am not really missing any of the products that I have finished. It's great to throw them away though.
In April I have bought a couple of items, all items that I needed. 2 of the products have been real bargains. After having had allergic reactions to mascaras in the past, I have always bought really expensive ones, i.e £20+. One day in Boots I looked at their Natural Collection mascaras for £1.99 and decided to give them a go and what a brilliant mascara. Non clogging, lengthening and separates the lashes superbly. One of the best mascaras I have bought. A defineite WIBA
Recently bought Lacura conditioning hand cream in Aldi for 75 p, brilliant bargain too. I have really dry hands but this really moisturises my hands. WIBA? Yes
I fell of the wagon though when I bought Origins drink up facial mask for £17, but it was the best one I could find. Without a moisturising mask my psoriasis will start to flare up in my forehead so this is an essential item for me. WIBA? Definetely
Good luck to everyone with this challenge. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
Any more dates to report trudi?
I've used nothing up over the weekend, but had a lovely pampering session last night. I am now using the Body Shop hemp butter - I like it, but it is sooo thick. Do you think they would exchange my two unopened ones for different body butters? I used The Daily Smooth last night as my Sunday evening treat, love it.
Yes - I think they might - worth a try anyway !!!
no more dates to report yet - though he rang me Friday night ( Id left my phone at the house!) and didnt answer when i phoned him back Sat (admittedly not till about 12 !!) and like an idiot, when he rang me back and after Id said where i was, he said "you're at the point to point?? were you ringing earlier to see if I wanted to come?? Sorry - I would have done,,but I didnt know it was on..." muggins here, instead of saying "yes - but its almost over now,so ot to worry" comes out with " no - I was returning your call from last night, im sorry I didnt answer, but I was at a ball with my friend...." to which I got "oh. didnt you think Id want to come??" OOPS.... no - i thought it might be a bit too "coupley", and Id bought the ticket ages ago!! :rotfl:mind you, if he thinks he can have a strop cos I havent asked him anywhere either he thinks of us as a couple, or hes a trainee control freak....
but hes going to phone me this week and we are going out  - so guess I'll find out which one it is, and if hes a trainee control freak, then he can be on his bike !!!
WAY more important things to think about than wether or not hes throwing his toys - like why doesnt my cinnamon buns bubble bath smell after it goes in the water....Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and taste good with ketchup0 -

And now a quick question .... do you think its ok to use gradual tanning body lotions that were opened last year? I have got a few half opened bottles to use up but am worried about getting streaky orangey results as they were opened last summer. I've got a Dove one, a Nivea one and a Nuxe one for the face.
I am & haven't gone a peculiar colour yet - did it last year too;)I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
