My hands are a soft as a new born's bottom, thanks to a self hand massage with oodles of cream instead of PYNM.
I am going to need some more of he Tigi hairstyling product I use I think....I thought I had at least one spare, but I can't find it.....the hairstyling fairies?0 -
sorry guys i'm going to be VERY naughty skinwise in the next couple of months - i'm afraid sunbeds are required!
I'm going to Egypt for 2 weeks in July (whoopsie!) and with lovely irish skin as mine (thanks mum and dad!) :rotfl: i will need to prepare a base tan...has anyone got any recommendations as to a tanning lotion that you use on a bed that speeds up the tanning process? i used to see them in the shops but would rather use one that isn't sold to me purely by the lady in the tanning shop!
Although my skin is pale it borders on medium and doesn't burn, goes a bit red and then tans, but i'd rather not have virgin skin in the Sharm sun!
Any tips girls? (i won't be using them for a mad tan here - i much prefer using potions and lotions for that!)x0 -

Is that Tigi hair products as good as it's made out to be...i'm always tempted but never tried...except in salons where they make my hair look like something i can never do myself anyway!:o0 -

By no means all of them, for me. I use the curling cream in a pump dispenser which I mix in my hand with frizz ease. I find it better than the alternatives, it has stronger effect on my hair than aveda be curly, with out the crunching of mousse. I know some swear byt the super good value boots cream, but it doesn't suit me AT ALL. ATM I'm using up a tube of curling stuff from Charles Worthington....which is ok, but not as good for me as Tigi.
I think it depends on hair type. My insanely curly hair is not so thick as curly hair often is, in that each hair is fine, not coarse, and also I don't have lots of hair...although it can look like it, because my health condition can result in hair loss, sort of overall thinning, but thankfully, this just seems to make my hair normally not thick.....but the cream also works well for Dh whose also insanely curly hair is both coarse and crazy thick, though he prefers a mouse for greater hold especially during the working day.0 -

my hair is quite odd, it can go from being straight to being really wavy (like i have curled it) on a day to day basis, so usually i just cancel everything out and have it straight - although it rarely lasts more than an hour or so without kinks appearing and random waves popping up. i'm toying with the idea of letting it become more natural but i think it just will look like a mess as (typically) nothing happens on demand!
i may give it a go , and will ask the hairdresser next time i'm in what they recommend for itthanks again lostinrates!

Out of what I have, if you were having a shower at my house I'd hand you the Aveda be curly on the description.
I actually think natural waves as the most beautiful hair type: I'd find your wave and ride it.0 -

Hello all, just checking in to let you know that two weeks into my challenge and I am behaving myself - no purchases at all ... yet!
So far have used up the following:
mini sanctuary foaming bath soak - WIBA? nope ... not this one, it doesn't seem to do very much either in terms of bubbles or skin softening - there is a nice kyphi one though that makes your skin supersoft so I would go for that.
mini sanctuary spa essentials body scrub - WIBA? yep... but not before I have used the six other body scrubs in my stash :rotfl:
large size sanctuary body moisturiser (orange lid) - WIBA? no ... it does the job but I prefer a body butter these days and I am not crazy about the scent.
mini molton brown body lotion - can't remember name ... purple writing on it - was ok but nothing outstanding...
mini bodyshop wild cherry body butter - WIBA? yes! love the texture - my overall fave bodyshop body butter for the scent is Cocoa Butter but the texture of that one is very rich unless your skin is v. dry - the cherry one is much much lighter, sinks in well and has a light scent which doesn't overpower my perfume or make me smell like a youghurt all day long!
You'll notice lots of body moisturiser use - I am on a mission to get nice skin for the summer and can report that my skin is looking and feeling softer and nicer than it has done for years.
Either the above combo of products contains The Secret to Eternal Skin Youth or it has something to do with the fact that I am slathering on loads of any old moisturiser everyday ... who would have thought that actually using my products instead of leaving them sat on a shelf was the answer! :j0
