    Hi drutt

    Snipped...

I have the same problem! I shave my legs and they itch like crazy! I keep scratching and leaving scratch marks! Drives me crazy!
Me too. Its so annoying. What does help me though is by putting arnica gel on my legs.

I hope i have not frightened anyone with having their eyebrows threaded - this has never happened to me before. Think the woman was going too fast and next time I am going to get someone else to do them.

To be honest - me and my friend are on the hunt for someone in Poole/Bournemouth that does threading - my friend is really keen - Im not so keen (and less after reading about the bleeding and pain!!!) but I'll give it a go....

Booked a manicure, eyebrow shaping and eyelash tinting for Thursday morning (using vouchers that my friend gave me for Christmas - yay!) - I SHALL go to this ball looking like a girl.... have to persuade martin he wants to see me Thursday evening so he can get a bit of a look at me remotely feminine ;)

(cough)...I may have posted in response to grabbit, a free Gosh eyeliner with a mag (cough) but I'm not buying one! I have 2 liquid eyeliners already and either apply it really well or... awful and look like I've had a rough night out...

Threading is much better than waxing IMO - waxing removes skin as well as hair whereas threading is more gentle.

Have been sorting out some of the boxes in my spare room and picked up a bag wondering what was in it .... yes you've guessed it yet more minitures including yet more hand cream. Now thinking about putting one into my handbag to use when I am out and about. Also wondering how many pink nail varnishes I need!! At least it is getting warmer so can paint fingernails and toe nails in a bid to use them up.

Evening ladies. Well, a small triumph tonight - I finished a sample sized Dove Triple Moisturising Beauty Care Body Wash. Would I buy it again? Maybe in several years when my stash finally runs out.......... it smelt nice and was moisturising and creamy, but nothing spectacular.
I'm also slowly working my way through my vitamins, fruit tea bags and magazines. :o

im making good headway with some products like the body lotion, the body wash and the sachets but some products i have im just not using. i must make more effort in those areas i think. At least doign a list like this gives you the chance to look and see what products you are actually using and which are just cupboard fillers. also while the toiletries are shifting the make up just isnt going anywhere maybe because we use such a tiny amount of products at a time so they seem to last forever. as an example i cite the blusher im using at the mo its a tube of cream blusher that has just over an ounce in (quite a big tube for a blusher) ive had it forever am using it most days but its ony just 1/4 used. ive been on this tube since christmas and im sure ill still be on it next christmas. Ditto the lippy im using its a tiny pot ive mashed the ends of various stubs of lippy in once they reaxched the bottom i seem to have been using it forever. I cant see how far i am down on the No7 glass bottle of foundation im using but im sure the make up faries come in the night and top it up as its endless.

On the plus i used up a small tube of conditioner last night (but i still have about 12 mpore left in the bath room from when i won 2X a years supply of hair dye and matching conditioners:rotfl:Ive used all the hair dye and only havce 3 packs of the root touch ups left but because you only need a tiny amount of the condtioner it lasts longer than it said on the letter:)

How about never buying toiletries again?

All those chemicals readily absorb into your skin, let alone into our water supply. they are ridiculously expensive considering we evolved for thousands of years without them; our skin can do a perfectly good job of cleaning itself.

For the past 3 months I have used:
    no soap
no shampoo (just scrub under hot water and fine comb it out)
    no aftershave
no shaving gel (I started to use coconut oil or olive oil, but found it clogs the razor and hot water is just as good)
No moisturiser (skin balances itself out without drying soap...can use coconut oil if needed)
homemade toothpaste - salt, baking soda, glycerin and peppermint oil

no wash bag to carry through airports, no stress of products running out, and clean thick style-able hair...its all good!
