I ordered my sim on 31 March, instant (almost) email confirming but sim didn't arrive till 14 April. Email to O2 and they agreed to credit me with £12.50 for inconvenience - result! Unfortunately, same cannot be said of Topcashback - not tracked at all and on ice till end of April.

I ordered 2 of these Sims - 1 x Iphone and 1 x Smartphone Sim. My Iphone has now gone to £200 but the Smartphone is only showing as £125 like uncommon13.

We took a screenshot when the offer was on and it definately said that it would show as £20 + £5 for the data but would be eligible for the £200 cashback.

    Hi Alison_B,

I ordered the Smartphone sim (£20 + £5 data) too which is showing £125 cashback. Hopefully this will be upgraded before payment.

Mine too. Looking pretty good now! :)
  • I had ordered one of these on the 31st of march on the advise from o2 that they would port my current simlicity deal over when I got my new sim.

Very happy to say that my number porter today and I'm tracking now at £200. I emailed top cashback and was told my payout will be early late May/early June.

My 3gs is pay as u go. Traded in my 3G for it along with £150 in cex.co.uk when it came out so now I'm setup up to sell this and buy the new iPhone in July with my cashback.

    Dead chuffed :)

i received my SIM card on 13th April when it was sent out on 1 April.

O2 now say the 14 day period started when the contract started, i.e. 1 April and so i cannot cancel. Previously they'd told me to call the 0870 number. Can anyone advice as they want the whole year's line rental as the termination fee? I got the contract on 30 March but they took 2 days sending the SIM card out, i guess they're also putting me out of the cashback deal.
I'd also like to inform you that as your contract started on 01 April 2010, you aren't eligible for the 14 day cancellation. You'll be charged
a termination fee, if you cancel your contract. The termination fee can be calculated by multiplying the remaining months of your contract with
the line rental charge, which is £25.00.
  • Don't let them con you! The terms and conditions state clearly that the 14 days start from when you receive the sim:

    shop.o2.co.uk/airtimeContract

"Unless otherwise stated, if you are a Consumer Customer and purchased your Service directly from us (rather than one of our distributors), in addition to any other rights you have, you may cancel this Agreement up to 14 days after the date on which you receive your SIM Card (the "Change Your Mind Period") as long as you give us notice within this 14 day period either by returning to any O2 retail store or by calling Customer Services."
