I used Experian, I have the monthly membership thing and I do keep an eye on it. I know lots of people just use the free trial but I like keeping an eye on things.

I didn't do my summary last night so I suppose I'd better do it now, it's looking a bit bleak to be honest!!!

Money in purse: £1.61 & 20 euro cents
    Money in bank: £9.33
    Bills still to pay: £0
    Petrol still needed: £20!
    Days til payday: 11

Wow not long til payday now at all! I know my figures don't technically add up but don't forget I am waiting for £20 to clear from Paypal too. This can be used for my fuel. As I am saying every day (trying to convince myself I think!) I have everything I need for the month so technically don't need anything. I can see that I will probably fall back on my CC but will try desperately not to!!!!!

I just feel like going out and spending lots of money on rubbish just for the hell of it! But I will absorb myself in sorting my house out as I have been a bit lapse of late. I forgot to take my happy pills over the easter break (I have a routine that I take them with my first cup of tea at work in the morning) and I think it made me grumpy and miserable and lazy. Need to thank DM for sorting my hell hole of a house out yesterday for me, much appreciated :iloveyou:.

  • Your house wasn't as bad as you thought really. Mostly just tidying and the washing up. It kept me amused while your DD was asleep! x

I know I know I didn't post last night again! It's getting easier to post in the morning now when I am at work and awaiting my morning rush of customers - business is quiet at the moment so it makes it easier.

I have sat down and worked out all my outgoings for this month's wage packet - £2378.81 . I get my wage slip today so will work out how much I have left for over payments. I have guestimated that OH will stick £1000 in my account (minumum) so if I work from that I can see where I am. Am hoping I can make a good overpayment to Egg card this month as I want to get it as low as poss!

I know they say about paying the bills with the highest APR's but I do it differently, I focus on one to pay off and then when that's done go onto another etc etc, I just find it more motivating!

I have already hung the washing out in my dressing gown this morning at 6.30am, my goodness it was cold.

Need to pop to Mr T's at lunch, my list is; Cooking salt (for dying clothes, forgot yesterday), caster sugar (to make some twinks for weekend), milk and bread. I might get some Glace cherries and make some Millies as well but I will see, Millies don't last as long as Twinks. LOL

OH is home today so i am hoping he has hung a wash out! He is pretty good at doing that!

I hope you enjoy your friday! Woohoo for the weekend! I want to make the most of tomorrow as next week DD1 is back to ballet/tap every saturday - bang slap in the middle of the day which is always a pain!

Right, been to Mr T's, ended up spending £5.79 instead of £6.50. Happy bunny! These small things.... Have wage slip now, am looking at: £1873.37 wages, £80 child benefit, £1000 (minumum) from OH =
    Income: £2953.37
    Bills out: £2378.81
    Total remaining: £574.56
Minus expenses: £210.00 (There are a few bits I need)
    Left for overpayments: £364.56

This is the absolute minimums so I'm quite pleased about that, esp being that my OH figure will be more like £1500 I think. Don't really know what to do with it or where to allocate it. I will definately be starting to buy post office saving stamps for my car tax. Then I guess I will allocate most of it to the nursery arrears and then the rest to a CC. Won't know for certain until OH gets his wage slip which won't happen for ages! They pay him on the last day of the month
