Money in purse: £3.05

Bills still to pay: £55 Logs
Petrol still needed: £50 / £55 in fuel account

Considering how much I spent at the weekend on fuel for my bike etc I don't think I'm doing too badly! I'd like to carry £150 over to next month's budget as I think next month will be tight, I have to put aside half of my car tax money this month as this is due end Sept. Thinking about it Ex also has to give me £100 he owes me from last month as well so it's not going to be too bad.
Not got a lot to say today so gonna sign off and leave it there!Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -

Morning all! Feeling a bit brighter and with it today so am giving more of an update. Was feeling a bit poo yesterday and Sunday night so needed a bit of an uplift. DM gave me a telling off about what I've been spending on my bike gear recently and she is entirely right so I need to be more careful!
I said yesterday about carrying over £150 to next month's budget, what I have in fact done is paid the Next bill early, so I don't need to factor in taking the money over. After this update I will work out my outgoings/income this month and post it.
I have nearly finished decorating DD's bedroom, just need to put the fairy border up and it'll be complete! That's on my 101 list so I will be looking forward to crossing that off! Right, off to add up my monies. lolNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
Hi Josie - hope you don't mind me sneaking over from the Small Things thread to have a little nosey at your diary?
You seem to be doing very well - especially in the face of your new circumstances.
I'm thinking about starting a diary myself just to keep track and hopefully motivate me a bit more.
Do you find it helps?
Cheers for now
Rachel xx0 -
Hi Rachel, yes a diary does help cos I find if I don't post/update I go off the rails a bit! Plus I can always look back over it and see how far I've come in the last few months, especially with everything that has happened.
When you do start a diary let me know so I can subscribe!

Sorry if its boring!:o0 -
LOL @ Rachel. I always think my diary will be boring to everyone else but every now and then someone comments to remind me people are reading
Today I went to ride my bike in to save fuel and it wouldn't startServes me right for not covering it up when it rained. No spark so suspect coil is wet. Now also need to take battery off to charge it due to turning it over too much! Grrrr!
Monies all OK at the moment, I forgot I have an Ann Summers party on 21st Aug to budget/cater for but my tax credits money should go in on 20th so that'll be there just in time!Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
Coil was wet. By the time I got home it was lovely and dry and started first time. So I covered it up this time!
Had logs delivered yesterday it took me about an hour and a half to stack them up in the porch, both sides. Then there was a small pile left in the front garden which I need to cover up so they dry nicely. My cottage looks really nice and rustic now! LOLNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
Hello hello hello!
While my dinner is cooking (curry for one...lol) I thought I'd hop on and update as I haven't for a while. Well my "best friends" BT have been in contact today...they are giving me a 3 month payment holiday as I am £70 in credit but say then my direct debit won't cover my usage and so want to put it up when I start paying again!!! *confused?!*
I guess it may be something to do with getting me on an even plain so I don't over pay/under pay. They have worked out my usage for phone and broadband is £20.50 a month so I still don't think its bad. I have to say, most of that it to my mother's mobile!!! LOL. I had no idea we talked like that? I must start using my mobile to phone her as I have loads of free minutes.
Monies still doing OK at the minute, although I'm down to nearly nothing at the moment I don't need anything. I have lots of food in and nappies etc! Oh how I wish she'd use the potty!:T
Just went out and ran my bike up as I am hoping to use it Wed weather dependant! I am a fair-weather biker and freely admit it! Good news is it does still run despite lack of use. LOL:rotfl:
Still feeling OK with things at the mo, quite often at the weekends I forget to take my meds as I'm out of routine and early part of the following week I get a bit flustered etc but I remembered this weekend. Plus I think I'm *almost* getting to the point where I can come off them, but I guess I'm just a bit nervous to.....don't want to go back to where I was, it wasn't nice there!Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -

Scary looking numbers but it's all cool cos I don't need anything between now and Thursday. Need to start working out the budget for September, have already worked one out but need to work it out good and proper.
This week I have the potential to save another £33 as I have put £66 in an envelope for the chimney sweep in case there are jackdaws nesting (price goes up if he has to remove nest). If there aren't then it's £33 for a normal sweep.
HANG ON A MINUTE!!!
I've just realised! He said if there were jackdaws (which I don't think there are) he won't be able to do it on Wednesday anyway! So really I only need £33 in the envelope! But then again I will have to pay £66 at some point anyway so may as well just leave it there....good thought though. LOLNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0
