    Money in purse: £4.20 / £1.72 Mr T's
    Money in bank: £733.05
    Bills still to pay: £0.00
    Petrol still needed: £25
    "Left over": £10.04
    DAYS TIL PAYDAY: 16
    DAYS TIL TC's: 27

All a bit up in the air at the moment as TC's have gone in and have confused matters! LOL I spent some money yesterday in Mr T's at lunch time. Did £36 worth of shopping, but this will last for ages.

£93 Ebay money also cleared so have transferred that over to my main account so I can get a proper picture of where I am. I have decided I am not going to pay any bills until my wages have gone in as well so I can double check the budget.

    Nearly Christmas!!!!

I ordered the remainder of christmas presents through clubcard deals the other day, 5x magazine subscriptions for various peoples. £47.50's worth of vouchers, would never have done that pre-MSE days!

Nothing spent yesterday so no change, although I went to Netball and signed up as a member, so that will be £15 a month from now on - but tbh, it's fun, social and keeps me fit, so I don't mind. And I don't often do things for myself either. Took my own drink too! :A Oh and I also started a tab in pub to be paid on friday - landlord convinced me to go down after the offer of a free drink!

Nearly finished decorating my bedroom too, just a small amount of painting to do and then tidy and hoover! Wohoo!

Urgh I'm so annoyed. Just made a massive batch of biscuits and burnt two trays of them. Grr! I still have one tray left but that's not the point. Not even salvagable burnt, proper black......

Woah just read back, haven't updated for ages! Better write something... OK I've stacked up the fire and am ready for an update...so here goes....

Went to see Reef last night in Portsmouth, they were awesome! Had a great time and only spent £20, friend bought the tickets ages ago so was a very good night.

I realised I don't talk much about my relationship with Ex any more. Have been having a difficult time with him recently as he wants to try again. He says he still loves me, and he's realised what he's lost and will wait until I decide what I want to do blah blah blah. It's really difficult, I always thought we'd get married and be a proper family but it never happened. I suppose everyone thinks that don't they? I think I'm happier on my own. I have great friends around me (mostly), my brother is living with me, I have my daughter and of course, my lovely lovely mummy!

Money things are going well, by using my energy monitor I have managed to reduce my electricity usage by 20%, so SE have credited me £25 as a well done. That was a nice surprise cos I honestly thought I'd become lapse. And what with DB3 here and his playstation/tv/phone charger/hot water on all the time! I have tried to make him aware of the MSE way but he's a bit forgetful....

I really need to wrap christmas presents today (as the small things girls will know) but can't find my labels  I sure as hell ain't wrapping with no labels, that's just asking for trouble!!!

I also batched cooked some vanille kipferl but burnt two trays of the three!!!! D'oh!

Hmm, have fallen out with my BFF (<-- I'm 26 years old, should I be using that expression????) . Shame really as I miss her but she is so full of sh*t it's painful. She's starting rumours about me at work without checking with me first to see if what she suspects is true. Best friends just don't do that I'm afraid. I am happy to be her friend but will no longer tell her anywhere NEAR as much as I did. Humph...

Recieved a letter through the post the other day telling me that Halifax want me to repay an old overdraft with them by 21st January. It's not a huge one, is now at £450 so I can do it no problems. I suppose I should have done it anyway but had no reason to and so wasn't fully commited. I was paying £20 a month to it and it has been going down. I suppose it's just a kick up the !!!!

Right, my right arm is burning by the fire so I need to move and can't with the laptop on my lap!! :)

    Lots of love
    Jx

    Money in purse: £21.60
Money in bank: -£10.17 / £200 owed from ex
    Bills still to pay: £80.86
    Petrol still needed: £75.00
    "Left over": £55.57
    DAYS TIL PAYDAY: 17
    DAYS TIL TC's: 8

So I need to take a walk into town today and put the £20 I have in purse into the bank. I am only £10 overdrawn in my available balance and not my actual balance so I figure if I go and do this today I won't incurr any charges, although it's freezing out there!

Other plans for the day....keep warm keep warm keep warm! It's -6 degrees here in Salisbury, but beautifully sunny so I'll let the weather off.

Right I'm going to do some surveys today, have been falling behind and haven't done any for at least two weeeks!!!!

    Creeps back in.....

    :hello:

    Hi everyone!!!!

After being absent for a while from the small things thread I wrote a long post on there today which made me think about starting a new diary...but this one is still here so hey...lets run with it!

Lots(ish) has happened since last proper post but you know what? I'm done with that, that was before, this is now. Time for a refreshing new outlook and time to knuckle down. The one important thing I have had happen to me recently money-wise is yesterday my tax credits were halved with one days notice. This has meant I have HAD to go to ex for some help. Although as all my small things friends have said, I should take his money, even if I don't need it :rotfl:

It's difficult for me to post now as I still have no laptop. When I came back from Wales the second time this year my house rabbit blew up my laptop...ahh just realised that hadn't happened when I was last on...step mum died of breast cancer January 16th...very sad as she was only 45, she'd fought it for about 9 years so did very well. I have been trying to justify to myself buying a new laptop but I really can't (esp now my TC's are right down) I can read everything on my iPhone and use DB3's PC to post...which I WILL be doing!

Tomorrow I will do a summary tot-up and begin my little header things again. Fresh outlook as of tomorrow ladies and gents!!!

Well I said I would sort out my summary today...but haven't get...something like this:-

    £249.99 in bank
    £5.00 in purse
Bills to pay:- Starting into next months budget so going to wait until Tuesday (payday to do this)

With Ex's £100 minimum this month I have approx £39 spending monies for myself. Tonight is the AGM for our netball club, but I have a cracking headache so will go for the prizes etc have a soft drink or two and a hot dog and then leave. Hoping for approx £5 spend. Definitely less than £10.

Then on Sunday I am planning to take DD to Moors Valley, where you only pay for parking and take your own picnic, this is £8 for all day as long as there are no extras. Friend I am going with has money issues too so will be a very MSE day indeed! This leaves approx £20 for friend's birthday party which I have already bought my costume for so don't really want to ditch this.

Hehe, have changed my signature....everyone like it?? :rotfl:
