Right I am coming out of semi-lurker-dom. It's time I pulled myself together over this because there's no going back! After a great night out on Saturday night I had the most fantastic time...then on Sunday I had the most huge barney with NSOH we have ever had (probably...nearly...) Many horrible things were said (by him, about me) and I realised that actually we are doing this all for the right reasons and he is a horrible person sometimes.

Anyway...so...onwards and upwards. MSE-wise, tired phoning WFTC this morning, was on hold for 10 minutes and had to give up due to being at work. Still not had my paperwork through after phoning two weeks ago!

Not got a lot going on today at work, luckily I have a whole pile of stuff I can invoice so I don't have a rubbish day.

I have calculated my money for the month as above, so all looks OK. Will have Cap 1 paid off this month too so am pleased with that.

Quick update - DM paid NSOH's money into bank for me today, so I paid the rent and nursery fees. I made a £150 over payment to nursery instead of the £200 as suggested by DM, this means I can DEFINATELY get cap 1 paid off soon!!! Just need my money to clear on my free money card then I can clear it and close it! Wohoo! Nearly one down!

Got home today to a nice clean house (thanks again mummy for your help yesterday!) so just need to do some washing up and think about tea, am getting bad at getting stuff out of freezer again. Need to get back into the habit! So will go have a rummage in there in a bit. DD fell asleep in the car on the way home so she's gone straight upstairs to bed. I am curled up on sofa in my PJ bottoms and dressing gown...I have to dress dead-smart for work with high heels so I love coming home and slumming it!

I am feeling really good today, I have had a great day at work and feel so much happier about everything in general. I phoned WFTC when I got in and got through after holding for only 12 minutes! The girl said I actually requested the forms on the 15th May so they must have got lost or something, they're resending them tomorrow for me. So I SHOULD get them shortly and begin the process.

Have made good progress on the debts this month, have got the numbers down to what appears to be a much smaller figure, although it's not, but it looks like it. I will one day post the numbers up here but not brave enough to yet, I'd rather just do it by little targets each time so I can keep track.

Right time for a cup of tea and a small bit of housework, will put the tumble on over night on cheap leccy as it's raining here.

Love to all and thanks everyone for your support recently xxxxxxxxx

    Time for an update!
Got my leccy "bill" through the other day, due to drastically reducing my usage through my energy monitor they OWED me £179. I thought they were just going to use it as a credit on my account but they've just put it back in my bank instead! Wohoo!

A customer gave me £10 yesterday to get DD a present, how sweet of him! Because I was at my workplace long before I had my DD and also worked all but the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy all my customers know me and DD. Had someone else pop in yesterday just to ask if I had any more recent photos of her! lol. So that's in the purse ready to treat her today.

Still waiting for the money to be put on my free money card - they said middle of June but I keep checking anyway! That's going straight to Cap 1.

Haven't got my tax credits forms either which is worrying me slightly, have phoned twice so should be any day now. I think instead of whacking my electric money straight off a card I'm going to hold onto it incase of tax credit issues. I know they backdate payments but there's no point putting extras onto a card then taking it off again!

Anyways I am at work today so I supposed I should really do some!

    Morning Josie!!

    Great news on the refund!

I worked right to the end of my pregnancy with DD2. I finish 4 days before my due date. But then she was 2 weeks late!

i hope you get the tax credits sorted soon! pretty rubbish of them to take this long to send the forms.

Money in purse: £? Not much...
    Money in bank: £257.40
    Bills still to pay: £7.20
    Petrol still needed: £40
    "Left over": £210.20
    DAYS TIL PAYDAY: 16

I've been a very bad DFW recently...Not logged into my banking AT ALL today, been popping to Mr T's for odds and sods, been off the meal plan...you name it, I've failed at it!!! Including not turning off the hot water, which has saved me all the leccy money in the first place!

Well I'm going back on track again...Got my WFTC forms yesterday, finally! So I filled out the form last night, took it all into work today so I could phone CB helpline to get my reference number...but he said he had to post it to me!!! I went "Aghhhh" on the phone to him and he said "don't worry, this happens all the time, put a note on it to say you will phone through with it when you get it, this way they can start the process as soon as they get the forms." Very helpful man. So they are in the post today. Though had a worrying conversation with someone else at work today about childcare vouchers, apparently our company have closed the account with them? This particular member of staff is full of the poo poo so he is probably wrong, quick call to accounts tomorrow can't hurt though!

I have the prospect of having a lodger when NSOH moves out, DB3 has a friend who has split up with his GF and is homeless, he is staying with DM and DB3 at the moment but there's not really enough space there. DB3 says he doesn't have a lot of money but says £200 a month would be feasable, my main concern was whether said person would keep up with my silly eccentricities that keep my house DFW, eg, turning off the HW and everything at the sockets, washing on over night etc. LOL. :rotfl:

Have been a bit frivalous with monies recently, not really paying attention to what I'm spending on and how much etc. Have bought a couple of essentials for work etc, need to have more work clothes as I'll be doing less washing when NSOH moves out at the end of the month. Need clothes to last me a week! LOL

Speaking of NSOH, his moving out date is Saturday 3rd July. That happens to coincide with the week my dad has down off his mountain. I plan on spending as much time as possible out and about with them so he can move in peace. Should start a count down for the top of my diary!

Dad is planning on coming down late Friday 2nd or Early morning Sat 3rd. I'm sooo excited, haven't seen him for so long, since before christmas. We have a campsite booked for Tues 6th July for one night in Brockenhurst, not that far away but dad wants to go there. He is also bringing his dog Rhubarb so lordy knows where I'm going to put everyone!

Tomorrow I MUST send off the single person discount form for the council tax and get them to adjust my payment arrangement to reflect that. Not sure how that will work but I will have to just see. Tighten belts all round I think temporarily!

Had the customer in today whose car DB drove my car in to. Sooo embarressing as he still thinks it was me that did it. Had a good long conversation about cars and motorbikes so I think I've got him onside now :T

Right, gonna go off and surf a bit, check my surveys today etc as NSOH is down the pub AGAIN.

UPDATE: Childcare vouchers are swapping to a different, better, company, with apparently more benefits other than the tax savings! Brilliant! I love that our new HR manager is a working mother!

Forgot the sodding council tax form though, must do that tomorrow

    Confession time!
I managed to accidentally unsubscribe my own diary so had lost it for a few days! But I have found me again and am definately back on track.

Yes Kel, I did my council tax form, so that's all filled out and sent off. Hope you're enjoying your camping!

NSOH is down the pub AGAIN. I am lounging on my new (to me) sofa watching come dine with me...oh a sign of things to come!

So tomorrow:- I am dropping DD off at nursery at about 8am, then nip to work to pick up DB2's keys to his old flat from DB3. Then a marathon cleaning session until about 10.45 (with a minor tea break with my friend that lives up the road) getting his flat ready to go back to his landlord. Then 11am I have a docs appt for a review on my PND, to be honest, I feel much happier since me and NSOH decided to split, this this will show. I have an appt with nurse at 11.50 but may be able to combine this with the earlier one to save me some time. Then to Mr T's with a list I have just written. Then home for my own marathon cleaning session, plus a lovely ME afternoon. Which consists of bath, defuzz, paint nails, do hair and lots of lovely girly things! :)

Money wise I am not doing too badly, I have sent off all the relevent forms for everything so am waiting for monies to be agreed with the relevent government departments then I can work out precisely where I will be month on month.

Oh oh oh! Can't believe I haven't mentioned this yet!!!
I HAVE PAID OFF EVIL CAPITAL 1!!!!!!
And boy do I feel good about this! The highest interest card, 31% and I didn't even realise! So that's gone, note my signature change with my new target, Evil Egg! They should never have put the interest rate up..........
