Money in purse: £3.50

Well something came up...as it always does! I paid for entry for kids fun thing yesterday...which I didn't really intend on doing. This cost £22 ish. So I used the cash DB gave me to pay his parking ticket. Don't get stressed mum, it wasn't our faults, we both got them because we got diddled. They put the signs up AFTER we had parked there in the morning. The signs had not been up for months! So anyway a parking ticket is £25 now, looked into contesting it but I would need to prove that we had parked there before the signs went up, and I can't do that.So that's about £50 off my disposable income there, with £22 for clownabout and £25 for a parking ticket. That leaves me with £39 for myself!!! Not that I'll use it anway. OH has worked out his this morning, he has about £150. He said I can have some more if needed but I don't really. So I' just going to sulk instead.Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
Booooo to the parking ticket!! I hate it when things like that happen!!! I hope you manage to make it through okay. My money is looking a little rubbish at the moment! Just need a little unexpected thing to happen and i will be close to having nothing left!Orange Fairy

Monies still the same as yesterday.
Not a lot happened today DFW-wise. I stayed in all day, have done garden things, planted my toms into pots out the front x3. Toms were donated my DM, OH bought compost yesterday, pots were reused after I replanted my rescued primroses. Amazingly more primroses have popped up ON TOP of the weed surpressing membrane... ie: just out of the gravel and no soil! So front garden is lovely now.
Have tidied the back garden and weeded the veg. Onions and garlic doing well. Harvested my first lot of rhubarb t'other day - I know it'll be a bit tart still but I had to do it cos it was shading my onions. Anyway, my body told me it was time to come in as my few spots I had before turned into a massive rash over my face and neck. Since being hospitalised a few years back by a plant I have had bad reactions to anything green!
Have decided I'm going to ignore OH and plant my chitted potatoes in old tyres from work...
Bet you lot had no idea I was go green fingered???? LOLNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
haha no i wouldn't have put you down as being so green fingered!! I am not in the slightest...though would like to be!!!
I hope you have had a great weekend.Orange Fairy

Well I did find that extra £35 yesterday but forgot I had 2x parking tickets to pay totalling £50! So anyway that takes my monies RIGHT down.
Ahh well.
Time to update properly anyway as I have been a bit lazy recently:-
So ebaying is going well, I was a good girl and listed more items last night instead of just sitting on this site and not being very productive. I now have 15 items up with various watchers/bids. I sold a dress on BIN, which was paid for and posted very quickly. Have started the transfer of monies from Paypal already. Only £6.50ish but every little helps!
Found out I can pay parking tickets on line, saves me going down there and either paying for parking or getting another ticket :rotfl:so that's a job done.
Grr I'm having a hungry day today, trying desperately not to go over to the shop! Have a yoghurt in the fridge from yesterday so will eat that in a mo...it's only 11am!
On the plus side, my boss has had to go home and get something important from his house apparently...good thing is that's a 2 hr round trip for him so it's nice and quiet here
Not a lot MSE going on at the moment, really wanted to get stuff paid today but OH money only left his account yesterday so won't get it til tomorrow. When that's done I can say all I'm all up together. Think I'm doing well on fuel ATM, because of Monday I might get an extra day out of my tank. On 1/4 at the moment, I normally top up on Monday mornings...Nothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -
