oh birthdays!!! I have my mums and one cousins this month. Mums won't cost me quite as much this year as two of my siblings who are 18 and 15 have started earning a fair bit of money over the last year. So rather than me and my older brother spending loads we can even it out a little! Me and bro1 with pay £25 each , bro2 will pay £20 and sis1 will spend 10. So £80 to spend on clothes for my mum on our trip next week. This is great seeing as i used to spend between £40-50 myself! bro 3 and sis2 are only 8 and 4 so their contribution pays for card and wrapping paper!! :D

Sounds like you are doing great , do you make overpayments when you get paid? I get to scared to do this as i worry i might need it!!! So i wait until the end of the month and see what i have left!!! Perhaps i should pverpay a little at the beginning of the month and then add more at the end if i have money left!

OMG I am so fed up with people at the moment. I have been up since before 7 as it's DN's birthday and had a lot of housework to do before we went out. Got it all acheived, then went out - lots of people involved. Came home - lots of people involved, including one girl I can't stand as she's so stuck up. (That's Robert's girlfriend incase you're wondering stitchy). Anyway they left and DB came over, which was great, he is always welcome as he offers entertainment then falls asleep on my sofa for an hour. Then OH comes home.

ALL DAY there has been noise and chatter and I am just exhausted from it! Does anyone else ever get to the point where they just want everyone to go away and sit on their own in some quiet??? Then Older DB and OH put X-Men on TV, after a LONG discussion about what to watch, I said "I don't mind what's on as long as you don't all sit discussing it!" lol, I thought older DB got the hint but him and OH went on and on and on and on and OH MY GOD! I got fed up and came up stairs with lappy and climbed into bed.

Sometimes I just need quiet. I love working as I can have time to myself and sit in silence if I want to (until I get interrupted by a tech) but at home it's just constant! I sometimes feel this is one of the reasons I think OH and I don't get on anymore, because I NEED space to contemplate and sit, and he rabbits on about !!!!!! I don't care about, don't want to know about and that won't change my life in any way shape or form!!!!

Hmmm sorry about that everyone, large random rant there...shows I forgot to take my happy pill this morning! :)

PS: Kel I do my over payments some at the start of the month and some part way through. I'd rather have it allocated than spend it on rubbish, that's what I tell myself anyway

I can still hear them downstairs! How do they continually find things to talk about?!

Just remember Jo that for centuries men have sat in smoke filled bars or outside Greek coffee shops putting the world to right. With the smoking ban and the state of the economy it's now done in livingrooms all over the world! :rotfl:
