Hi all
Newbie here, i know the thread says Aug 2011 brides but seen as my W2B has entrusted me with most of the planning (but not the decisions lol) i thought it only fair that i'm able to call on peoples help in my time of need. Me be the more creative one has to try and interpet her ideas and try to make them reality, not an easy task i can tell you but i'm getting there and the plans are coming along nicely...... then 2 days ago we've had it confirmed we're expecting our first child!!
Well that's a quick run down on the last 6 months, look forward to the banter over the next 12 months!Wedding day is 26th Aug 2011 and counting!

Hi,
My & the other half where in town today and spotted some 1.2m high rose tress with white/ivory flowers (all be it fake) reduced to £14.99 in B&M bargins. They're perfect for the entrance to the building we're getting married in, cheaper than what our florist has quoted, we're just going to put coloured ribbon on the stems so they refect our colour scheme.
In true money saving mode i'm aiming to save enough tesco points/vouchers to get my wedding ring for free from goldsmiths, she's already found her's at a second hand jeweler's at a bargin price compared to what it would have cost new, and she loves it which at the end of the day is all that matters.Wedding day is 26th Aug 2011 and counting!

Just out of interest did any of you lovely brides to be enter the competition for that free wedding dress? dresses at No 9. Just wondered if we had any direct competition lol If my proposal efforts weren't good enough (fingers crossed they are) then if any of you need my vote just ask.Wedding day is 26th Aug 2011 and counting!

Hi folks
This is my first ever post and I wanted to share my money saving bargin with you dress hunters...after searching many shops and realising I could not justify spending nearly £1000 on dress and accessories I started to look at other alternatives. I came across a website called pre-loved (put it inot google) which is a site dedicated to selling pre-loved items. I found a romantica dress that I really liked. The seller wore it once at her wedding last year. She originally paid £650 for the dress £150 for the veil and £100 for the tiara and Im getting the lot for £225 including the postage!!!!
So for those of you who are in my position and would rather spend the money saved on their honeymoon check out this site for a bargin!!0 -
Welcome MrOrganised - I am also saving up tesco clubcard vouchers for Goldsmiths for my wedding ring, OH isn't having a ring as he can't wear one for work and so doesn't want one which is fair enough.0
