Just wondered how everyone is getting on? So far I have

Dress (£100 from chairty shop and it is perfect!!!):j
DJ
Hair and Make Up
Photographer

I thought I had sorted my younger bridesmaids dress out - bought in on ebay for £12.99 but now not sure it goes with my dress. Oh well will re-sell I think

I also thought I had my theme colours sorted, Navy and burnt orange. Now not sure if the orange will go with the dress! Mmmm not sure what to do.

Still need to sort flowers out and oh yeah colours!!:)

Hey girls can i join you? We are getting married the 20th August 2011. Cant wait. Have done most of the stuff needed lol. I think all i have to do is the suits, cake, Order my dress, caterer/menu and cake Oh and buy the decorations all else is done and sorted. xx

Hiya everyone, i am new to this thread and getting married 20th August 2011 :-)
we only got engaged a month ago on the day of our daughters christening, we have managed to book the church, venue, photographer, videographer, chocolate fountain :-D, some of the venue decorations and i am just about to book the DJ (karaoke) and am very busy looking at wedding dresses at the moment!!
can't believe how much needs to be organised!!

i am really enjoying it all though just so scary that all these desicions are for just one day and we only get to do it once!!!

Hi to all the new comers since I was last on! Me and OH are of to see registrar Friday 1st Oct (hopefully with all the right documents) so we can make our date finally official (26thAug11).

Any of you got plans to go to wedding fayres in the coming months? Me and the miss's are going to vist the wedding show in Manchester (what was GMEX) hopefully we can get some more inspiration for a few things.

And we finally got our 12 week scan date through so off to the hospital next week to make sure junior is ok.

Found and ordered my dress today, so excited, absolutely love it!
How is everyone else getting on?

Still not much further... made some appointments for dress shopping in December, putting it off as long as I can too lose some more weight!
So... ceremony and reception venue booked, notice given (though we are hoping that we can bring the time forward...!), chair covers booked... eek that's it!
Apart from that I just keep picking up little bits and bobs, like jars and things for our sweet station.
So much left to do!!!
Anyone else going to the National Wedding Show next week?

I've had a bit of a setback in that I thought I'd found my perfect dress, rang the nearest stockist to see if they had a sample I could try on and found they didn't stock that particular dress. So I either have to order it blind or take an 11 hour round trip south to Aberdeen, which is the next nearest place that deals with that designer. That said, my next door neighbour's husband works offshore and she's in charge of making sure I don't buy anything that makes me look ridiculous, so we could always tie it up with collecting him at the end of a fortnight's shift...

I'm getting slightly worried at how Bridezilla-ish I'm becoming though - yesterday I signed up for something I've wanted to do for YEARS: get my teeth sorted out! I'm having Invisalign, I start the process in a fortnight's time and they should be straight and white by the wedding

I ordered my save the date cards from Vistaprint yesterday - can't wait for them to arrive now!
