Well done Chelle you are organised. Where did you get your BM dresses from?

I havent done anything for a while. Think i have chosen my bridesmaid dresses. I haven't been able to look for my dress yet as im 8 n bit months pregnant. I have been getting my ideas finalised in my head and think ive sourced where to get my plates an bowls from (we are having a diy day). Im seeing the marquee up tomorrow so will get a much better idea then. Yippee.

Some people seem to have most things organised.

Hi Bella - welcome to the thread!
Domsmummy - what colour are you having for your bridesmaid dresses? I am thinking of purple for my BM's and cream for the flower girls.
  • Hi,

My first post, though I have been reading these forums for years... Got so excited at this thread thought I should post! Will be nice to share ideas, tips and excitement with some other August 2011 brides!
We booked 2 weeks ago for our wedding on 26th August. So far we have the ceremony (civil) and reception booked, registrar booked and the chair cover hire booked as it was a special offer linked with our venue. Desperate to go dress shopping but am currently doing well at Weight Watchers... anybody know how late it is safe to leave the dress shopping?

Maddie - how exciting! Well done with your weight watcher. Want to try and lose some weight before I try looking for a dress but also worried about leaving it too late!
Chelle - dress and bm dresses sound lovely, nice to get them all from the same place.

Thanks Primmer am really glad the bridesmaids dresses are sorted cos they all have different shapes and tastes so was a bit concerned we wouldn't find something to suit them all but we did and they're all happy with them!

Primer my bridesmaid dresses are bright pink. They don't look like traditional bridesmaid dresses but then as im not having a traditional day they should go. Ive just got to order them, they are from jane norman.
I saw my marquee up today n have the measurements so now know where in the garden it is going which helps no end with getting my ideas sorted.
Anyone know where i could get enough pinic tables from for 70+ people?
