Well im very pleased at having my marquee, we managed to book one for £300 including them putting it up instead of £2500 that we were quoted. Now just got to get the extra stuff that we will need elsewhere. Really not sure what I need though as the last time I went to a wedding I was 12. Am hoping to do this all for £3000. not sure if it is possible with what we want.

Hi, we're trying to find a reasonably priced marquee, how did you get it so cheap? and where are they based?

    Many thanks :o

    Hi
After getting quotes and speaking to people my dad had a brain wave. It is a marquee owned by a local village and they hire it out.
I would say ask around, village/town halls sometimes have them n hire them out or local groups.
    Hope ive helped a little.

We've booked our venue now! The date is 27th August 2011, this was the last summer weekend they had!! Bit nervous as it is a bank holiday weekend, not sure if that's a good or bad thing, but hey ho!! How exciting!

That the same date as me.
I didn't realise it was a bank holiday weekend.

Wow Chelle - you are organised. All I have done is book the church and the reception venue! Do need to get on with things and am looking at photographers at the moment.
