Hi Miss Pixie, congratulations on your wedding. We chose that date because it would have been my mums birthday, and it helped that it was mid week lol. How are your plans going today, have you done anything? I am looking for frame for my fingerprint tree, harder than I thought cos I keep seeing the 'perfect one' then I see another I like more xxClixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00

Hi giddy and hillstep congratulations first of allx I have tried to look at the flowers from seller you mentioned and there are 0 results in the whole shop, very strange. It does say they on holiday til 20th June though so maybe thats why xxClixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00

That is a much better reason for the date
And yes midweek weddings are so cheap I love itI have done absolutely nothing I really need to get cracking but it is too hot. Have you made your own fingerprint tree?
I am supposed to be making ours at some point it is on one of my many to do lists!Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

OOOOhhhh check this out, after hours of searching the cheapest one I could find was £30.00 for the size I wanted. Or about £7.00 just for the jpg file. Might save you some time and money :jhttps://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3271238 I absolutely love the idea and even better is it will only cost £1.50, then 2 x cheapink and frame of my choice xxClixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00

Thanks for that I really like the style of tree and so I am going to steal a few features from it because I am painting our tree and can't decide what I want it to look like!Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

I had decided against wedding flowers (this is my 2nd marriage and I cant remember what I did with mine after the church last time!). Although I went on ebay and have won 2 bouquets (silk) and 4 matching button holes in blue! They are being posted this week and they really didnt cost much. OH has his suit, boys have their shirts, so we practically done.Mum, wife and dinnerlady!0

We went to the hotel yesterday to talk to the owners about menus and finalise timetables etc. Am now SO excited! We're not getting married until 4pm, so we're having a sit down lunch for both our families beforehand with a cut-down version of the hotel's normal menu - all the produce is local, including wild salmon caught from the sea at the end of our village and venison from the nearby estate. We've got four 10-and-unders who'll find the menu a bit challenging and the chef promptly said that he'd cook each of them whatever they'd like - in his own words: 'Even if it's Findus Crispy Pancakes and chips, it's no problem - just let us know and we'll make sure it's there for them.' We're having a barbecue in the evening and because there are 'only' 70 guests they've said that rather than put trays of cooked food out on the side and get everyone scrumming down to get it before it goes cold, they'll get three cooks on the barbecue, bring the food out in ice boxes and cook EVERYTHING fresh to order - so guests will be able to wander up, ask for a medium rare rib-eye steak or a half lobster and have it on their plate a few minutes later. And they're going to keep the cooking going for three hours so as people get more loosened up with booze and dancing they'll be able to go back for another burger or two
But the best bit of all? The bill. They'll work the lunch out on the day because it depends on what everyone picks (going off their menu prices it'll be about £30 a head including wine), but for hiring their function room, their restaurant and their lounge bar, for sparkling white wine for the toasts, for barbecue for 68 guests and extra special barbecue additions (we gave guests a choice of steak, half lobster, scallops or langoustines) we're being charged £1,927.60 including VAT :T:T:T:T:T0 -
Hi all, had to just share my excitement. I'm so excited just had mine last RSVP today for the wedding and reception, I can now start planning seating plans and the other fun parts! I've been so touched by the number of people attending as I am getting married back where I come from and many people ar travelling 200miles from where we live to attend- which i thnik is ever so kind :j

Oh wow did everyone reply themselves or did you just have to nag them? I have a feeling nobody on OH evening list is going to bother replying they probably won't be coming but it would be nice if they told us seen as we went to the effort to give them an rsvp card and addressed envelope... but then this is the family who don't write names or put stamps on rsvp cards lolGetting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!
