Saw this on a thread on here but cant for the life of me find the post. Anyway I fell in love with the idea of using this as well as a traditional guestbook. Been searching high and low to find a good deal and think I have cracked it. Found a site that sends you the jpg for free if you give them your information. They are only doing this for a limited amount but I have checked with them and they said it is fine to let you know about it. They were really helpful and I received the file in about 10 mins. I think it looks amazing. The only thing I am not sure about is wether to just have the words all lower case as one of the names doesnt look right. What do you think?
My next problem is sorting out somewhere to print it, I have uploaded the file onto vistaprint and saved it as a poster, it would be on premium poster card. This would cost £8.50 inc p&p but TCB are offering £7.00 cashback so it would only work out at £1.50. Would it be ok to just print it from there or will I have to pay more for acid free? Does any one have any ideas?
Once that is sorted just need the frame, seen a lovely thick gilt one on e**y which would be perfect.
Here is the link to the site http://styleunveiled.com/wedding-fingerprint-tree or you can download the blank one and write it yourself hth

Removed my copy now as link to blank one is done. Thanks, would it be okay just printing on card do you know, that is what I am going to do via vistaprint but I read somewhere that it needs to be acid free. Dont know if it does or not, I will order it anyway and hope for the best. Now just to find some cheap green ink xxClixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00

If you find any good ink (that doesn't stain fingers!) please let us know!

I'd love to do one of these. Perhaps some good quality blocks of watercolour paints would work? They're very easily washable, and as they are solid, you wouldn't have to worry about them spilling.Life on a shoestring!0

In scrapbooking I use acid and ligin (sp) free paper as it goes brown and brittle (think old news papers) so I would think that's why they say use acid free card, most card in craft shops is acid free. Make sure you put good wet wipes with it so people can wipe the ink off their fingers after. I have the inks shown in their picture so will see if they stain fingers or not!0

What about this ink?
I worry about staining people's fingers and whether the pad would be big enough!0 -

My fingerprint tree got emailed to me yesterday. I hadn't noticed the date was in the US format, so the date was wrong, so I replied, saying it was my fault, but any chance they could correct it, which I'm pleased to say they did quickly.
As for printing, I'm going to probably get it printed so it is the size they recommend, but onto a2 paper. The print shop will then cut it down to 20 x 16 for me. I've remembered (and dug out!) an old IKEA frame I bought a few years ago for a craft project that i never used, and that is 20 x 16, so I'm going to use that. My plan is to paint the plain wood of that to match our wedding colour and present it in that to keep it flat, without the plastic on the day, but mounted with the plastic afterwards. If that doesn't work (I have the frame so will try it with the tester paint I also already have) I'll buy a frame from somewhere like Wilcos that has the same sized frames reasonably priced.
For ink I bought an ink it up pad from a local craft shop. It's acid free and non toxic, but doesn't say washable. I got a colour in the sale (99p) and tried it at home. The ink easily came straight off with a baby wipe. I have now ordered more from the same people.
Hope that helps others!0
