Have bough a guest book, OHs shoes, presents for our Best Man, Dads, Mums, Bridesmaids, page boy and flower girl today! Oh, and also OHs pants!!!!!!
Feeling pretty organised...but then we did realise in 11 weeks it would be the day after our wedding!

People keep asking me 'Are you all organised then?' and looking alarmed when I say 'No!' :rotfl:
I've chased up the last 6 RSVPs today (not bad out of 85) and once they're back I'll be able to give final numbers to the hotel and sit down with their chef to sort out a lunch menu beforehand for our families.0 -
Got back from Africa yesterday, I can't believe the wedding is so close. I haven't done anything since the end of March. We have still to sort out flowers and table decorations. I have a florist friend who I might ask, but actually simple handtied bouquets for the three of us would be enough. Or corsages for the bridesmaids maybe? We go for our food tasting on Friday, arrrgh I hope it's nice! I'm getting nervous now. The hen night is coming up not this weekend but next weekend.:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Ditto that feeling lol my friend is getting married a month before me, and she's pretty much sorted, and is horrified that I have literally only just booked my flowers, and haven't had a hair and makeup trial yet!
Didn't have the internet for absolutely ages thanks to massive mess up with our provider but...since it came back online at the beginning of the week I have booked the flowers - £83 for a bridal handtied posy, bridesmaids corsage, five buttonholes and 2 mums buttonholes is ok right? I went in and said I had about £45 to spend on my bridal bouquet, coz I wanted something fairly small and natural as possible. Hair and makeup trial number one takes place next friday, I think I know where the wedding favours are coming from, so I think all thats left to do is make the cake toppers and table centre pieces, get OH wedding day shoes, and chase up my last two RSVPs (who have said they're coming but haven't told me what they want to eat).
Actually when I write it down like that perhaps I'm more organised than I thought!0 -
Smookle - sounds like you are pretty organised!
Well the first marriage class went ok so here hoping next weeks will be ok too.
Feel like I should be doing things and feel really guilty when people ask as I don't feel like there is much left to do but then I panic and think time is running out and that all the little things mount up!0 -
I know what you mean Primmer! We have less than 12 weeks to go and I haven't really done anything for the last couple of months because there wasn't anything to do hopefully it will pick up again now I have finished uni and have lots and lots of bunting that needs sewing.Getting married Wednesday 24th August 2011!

Please can I join, my wedding date is 24th August, Soooo excited picked my dress up today. I think I just looked at it for an hour. Did pick an Ian Stuart dress at first, but changed my mind after seeing Benjamin Roberts 966. It is gorgeous and love sound of the material (does that make sense?) when I wear it. Saved a few quid too, not that it was important, but it all helps. Loving reading everyones posts xClixsense since 31.01.16 $122.13 Neo bux since 31.01.16 400 RR $1018.00
