Any August 2011 brides????

I haven't seen mine out yet either, plan is for end of this month.
We sent out save the date cards though so hopefully when the invites come the date won't be a huge shock to anyone!

You still have plenty of time to send invites out. I sent mine last Tuesday as the hotel for the reception is quite small and doesn't have many rooms and I need guests to confirm whether they want to stay and for how many nights so I can let the manager know as I want to make sure that those who have travelled have somewhere to stay. Looks like we will need about 15 rooms for night of wedding so am glad manager allowed us to provisionally block book the rooms.

Whoop, first RSVP back today We sent the invites really early as well as most of my family have to book flights and hotels. Don't worry Gill

Thank you - I feel a bit more relaxed now - sigh......I was planning to send in the middle of May but may do a wee bit earlier then (I did do "Save the Dates" last year so fingers crossed people took note of that!!).

Lara, it must be exciting when the RSVP's start coming in - I can't wait for that.....maybe then it may finally sink in that this is actually happening to me as at times it still all seems so very surreal!!!

Hi MissPuxie - it is exciting isn't it! Got most things organised, need to get 2 bridesmaids dresses for the kids who keep growing, think I will probably get them soon, I have dresses for the other 4 bridesmaids and they are getting their own shoes. Invitations have gone out and I have had RSVP's from about half the guests so far. How are you getting on?

Wow half your guests rsvp'd already!? I have had about 10 back and I think that will probably be all I get lol

We have loads done but yet my to do list still seems to be growing.
Only really big things left to do are:
-Make bunting
-Finish the favours
-Buy bridesmaid presents
-Book bouncy castle
-Book rehearsal
-Make the kids goody bags
-Meet the caterer and choose the food

There are loads of other little bits that need making still but I don't have time to do all them until I finish uni.

Wow you have so much sorted already. I haven't even done the invites yet. think i am going to try and make our own as haven't seen any that i really like yet, however time is really tight atm as have so much uni work to do within the next 5 weeks. (personally i think it more than humanly possible but going to give it my best).
Have ordered my foam roses and already have the orange wooden ones so hopefully they will go well together. Suits sorted. Have dress wobbles atm though. Need to get my daughters dress soon and matron of honour then the jewellery.
So much to do, make, order an design.

PDA card and craft is really good if you want to make your own invites because if you can't find what you want they are really helpful to find something or cut stuff to size free of charge!

I know what you mean about uni I am putting most wedding stuff on hold now because uni thought it would be nice to tell us now that we have another assignment on top of the others due in on the 6th may. GRR!
