MrO - how exciting, do keep us updated can't wait for the news that baby has arrived.

Our invites have arrived this week and so need to spend some time over the weekend putting the invites, RSVP cards and hotel info together ready to send out - so exciting to see them and really pleased with them too. Got dress fitting tomorrow afternoon with seamstress so she can work out what alterations need doing.

All the invites have gone out and we've had a meeting with the humanist celebrant to discuss what we want to include in our ceremony. Some very sad news in that the friend who was mostly responsible for us managing to be together, who was going to be our guest of honour at the wedding, died suddenly a couple of weeks ago aged 41. Make the most of every moment, guys...

thank you all for the kind words, mum and baby doing well, he finally arrived Saturday at 6.36am and was a tiny 6pound half an ounce. Wasn't expecting such a small baby so we've had to sort few more clothes to fit him. Just finally had chance to sit down for a brew before heading for some much needed sleep, think i've had 2 hrs sleep in last 48hrs lol

Me and OH have spent night addressing all our invites ready to post on Monday, feels great to have got that done!

We decided on Casey Francis, Francis being after my Grandad who i have a lot of admiration for who passed away when i was young. Well we've had difficult first few nights geeting into the swing of things but the little one is settling in nicely. Eat, sleep & poo lol he doesn't even jump at the dogs random barking! but then again he's already hard 8 an half months to get used to it.

Starting to receive a few invite replys back now, my parents gave us some good news while visiting, the relatives we were hoping would decline on the invite .... are ALL coming lol thankfully my parents picked up on the reason was being a cost issue and have kindly offered to cover the additional funds. I'm so lucky to have such nice parents and the bonus is they are fully retired now so my mum is falling over herself to make excuses to baby sit.

Lovely name MrO - glad to hear you are all settling into a new way of life! Good news that your parents are helping with costs, my parents are being really good too which helps so much. I have had a few RSVP's back and it's so exciting opening them and finding out who has responded.

I have 22 confirmed guests!! That's nearly half! I'm 99% sure that all can come - they're just not as quick to RSVP (and it's only been a week!). Went to give notice at the town hall last friday - very exciting so went for a nice meal after. Sorted photographer, chair covers & DJ. It's all coming together!! Need to sort rings & flowers & bits, but not much left to do!

Mr O - youo need to update your signature with Casey's arrival date. It's so exciting and I hope you're all enjoying the bundle of joy!

My daughter has had probs with the post, some invites have not arrived, and we don't know who's have either! She is going to have to ring people up now! GRR!

Oh dear.....seems I'm way behind - I've not sent my invites out yet.....they're still being worked on but hopefully will have them by the end of this month - am starting to think I'm maybe too laid back here!!
