Hi, I'm sure that's it, she's so good with customers I'm sure she just doesn't want to keep anyone waiting.

My hubby to be is on his stag at the moment and not back until Friday - so so strange! Missing him so much, but I will enjoy star fishing on the bed tonight!

I really want to try on my dress again! Can't wait for the next fitting... should it all be sorted by now? I really worry something is going to happen... always paranoid me!

Hi MissPixie, no nagging for the day guests but I have a feeling the evening will be totally different, ive only had 4 out of 60 so far, so we will see.

We had to chase a couple of the day guest up, but next to no replys for the evening one's?? But we basically know those that will be coming and those that wont so we know rough numbers. Seating arrangements have been bit of a pain for both the ceremony and meal. Limited seats for the ceremony due to the size of the out building we're getting married in so most of the rest will be standing room only.
Had another meeting with the venue to make sure we'd not over looked out, and iv'e got to say this was the best meeting we'd had with them, very polite and helpful for a change lol
My W2B went back to the shop to get her dress measured for altering, to say i was shock by the amount she said was understatement! .... i said you could have a new dress for that! to which she replied i have!!!! she never really loved the other and got it due to the initial tight budget we needed to work to. But we's saved a bit along the way so when she fell in love with one of there new sample's they'd just got in she had to buy it lol good job i love her haha but i would want her feeling second best all day so i'm happy.

The Quartet we'd booked for ceremony music are being a bit 'needy' with there requirements, so they are going to be a bit upset when i tell them they can't have the setup they want. Only allowed 20 in the ceremony out building and they wanted 4 seats! i dont think so lol

MrO - sounds like you are all sorted. Good news that oh has a dress she loves.

We sorted our place cards at the weekend. We ordered pretty perforated place cards online and then downloaded their template which meant we could type each guest name on the template and print on the card. They look really nice and professional.

Forgot to mention both hen do and stag do sorted as well lol Still working on music for ceremony with only 2 weeks now to let them know.... tick tock... and my W2B cant make her mind up at all, i'm so glad she's taken a back seat with regards to most of the organising or else i'd be a bit stressed out by now.

Ummmm, I might be missing something here, but assuming it's a string quartet you're talking about, they can't play unless they're sitting down

MrO we got them from https://www.favourfairy.co.uk they were plain with silver heart on and was under £5 pack and each pack has approx 42 place cards and the template to download was free and details of how to get the template were on the back of the packaging. Also once you had the template you could play about with the fonts to get the type you wanted.

cazmanian_minx yes your correct but it would be far to cramped in there with them inside so had intended on them going on the had ground just outside thus the rest of the guests benefit from the music and not just us. worst case being if it rains we'll have to use the main function room which has plenty of room.....but trying not to think about that as its the only thing we cant book... good old english weather lol we must be made to have book it out doors on a bank holiday weekend.

We have our last of three marriage preparation lessons tonight and then I have my wedding dress fitting on Saturday afternoon, the seamstress was taking up the length and taking in the top so hopefully it will fit nicely, can't wait to see it again!
