We hadn't heard from the venue since last year so I was freaking out and emailed them this weekend got a reply saying they wrote to us in April to arrange an appointment to discuss food etc so I am now going on July 8th to speak to them. I am just grateful that we are going to see them again because I have so many questions not to mention we haven't even chose a menu yet!

I want to see my dress before again before I go for my hair and make up trial so I hope it comes in soon.

MissPixie - glad you managed to fix a date to visit venue and get details and food sorted.

OH and I have set aside some of this weekend coming to try and sort out a few more things - it's suddenly scary how close August is !!!

Its all getting close now! All those little things that there seemed loads of time to do now need doing asap!

At weekend we need to buy the following:-

Mirror and card to make table plan
Frame and ink pads for wishing leaf tree
Postbox and card to make box for cards from guests

We also still need to organise gifts for wedding party, background music for reception, first dance song, draft order of service - we have decided on hymns and music for the service but still need to decide on readings and who is doing them. So much else too!!

I've not been on here for a read for a few weeks, oh how you lot made me smile/laugh running round like headless chicken's, its so funny, you've cheered me up on a bad day lol
But that aside, yes it is frightening just how close the big day is looming now!!!!!
We handed in our ceremony paperwork at the registra's on friday gone, we had a nightmare picking music lol
Just starting to think about ordering stuff for the table decoration etc at the moment i 'THINK' i'm still got things under control. Apart from the Chief bridesmaid deciding to put a fair bit of weight on and not fitting her dress with 8 weeks to go!! She's like dont worry i'll get a bigger dress (which they dont do!) Would be happier if she said dont worry i'm on a crash diet! Then my W2B decided maybe she's picked wrong bridesmaids! HELLOO too late, i did say sack your chief sthen een as she's made no attempt to maintain her weight and use the other person but my W2B is too soft to tell her, thought things were going too well.

Well its all quiet on here? ? ? you must all be really busy lol

took my nephew for his suit fitting Sunday, all suits now sorted waiting final fit/collection. B2B had her hair and make up trial this morning, just a few bits to buy in. Then dress alterations next week.

The big day is almost upon us!!

Ordered in some aqua gel beads for table centre pieces so just need to by some tubs in now to be able to transport them in. fingers crossed all going well so far, just need to start praying for the weather as we're on an outdoor ceremony.

I have had a weekend of dress distress MrOrganised. The seamstress took it in far too tight and I was completely unable to breathe I have had to surrender my huge padded bra to make the dress fit - and it is still a bit too tight. Looks like I will be eating like a bird until 6th August!!

Other than that I think we are okay, still quite a lot of little bits to do but we're on the case.
