Feel like I still have loads to do and so have booked this Friday off from work so I can spend the day doing wedding things.
So much to do and so little time! Doesn't help when people keep commenting on how soon it will be here!

MrO - sound like you are all organised!

How is everyone else getting on?

Its four weeks today till my wedding. Just need to pay for lunch for 35 this week and I think we are sorted.

Bought my sons who are just turned 6 and 4 tomorrow some linen shorts to go with their shirts for the wedding and now the weather appears to be all doom and gloom!

We have decided on our ceremony wording and will pay the registrar on the day of the wedding.

Seeing as we only booked 12 weeks ago - i dont think its gone that fast!

  • For those that are feeling the pressure.... just pick out 2 or 3 things your really need to do then set realistic time scale.... like by the end of today lol then chip away at the others in the same fashion. Dont let your heads crumble by trying to sort everything at the same time, we've only one pair of hands after all!

just book 2moz of work to give W2B a break from the little one as she's getting run down, so i'm going to try and make a start on my speech and arrange a few appointments.
Wedding day is 26th Aug 2011 and counting!

I have emailed the vicar today with the words to the non-religious reading we want and have asked for his approval. Provided he gets back to me by Friday I can then spend my day off finalising the order of service.

Well we've had my mum's friend round tonight to measure for bridesmaid alteration. My w2b went shopping again for a change lol and got my nephew some shoes from next. Was £32 reduced to £15, when they put them through the till it came up at £3!!!! how goods that.

We'll it seemed like a long time ago when we all first started planning on here but the big day is only around the corner, I'd like to wish you all the best of luck on your wedding day's, hope the sun shines, and everything goes to plan.
If you have any last minuite glitches.... remember a problem shared is a problem halved! so delegate those tasks to somebody else and dont get stressed, Enjoy the day cos you've spent long enough planning it.

Signing out for now, and i'll certainly be back on after the wedding hopefully with a few pictures to share.
