Amus, My mum is making mine so all I have to do is supply the paper and stamps, but from what I've looked at online, that is one awesome deal!!
Jill, thats awful! Did he say why he cancelled? Perhaps he might be able to recommend someone else? (Since he cant do it himself) My friends photographer cancelled on her 2 weeks before the wedding (he was admitted to hospital with pneumonia so pretty decent excuse lol) and she managed to find someone within her budget. He did lovely photographs too!
And don't you just love family? Weddings would be so much easier without them lol! Mine is causing me a nightmare because there is too many of them! And my dad has insisted I invite all my aunts and uncles (He has 8 brothers and sisters, my mum has 6) complete with their spouses. I kind of have to give into this as he is helping a large amount towards the wedding, but it means I can't invite cousins I really like because I have to invite aunts and uncles I haven't actually seen in about eight years...grrrrr! Wedding budget out the ruddy window!!!
On the plus side, we've sorted out the accommodation issue! The Registar couldn't marry us on the saturday, which means we couldn't use the original choice of reception venue. So now we've gone for a hotel reception on the friday instead. Provisionally booked, just waiting for date confirmation till we pay some people some money!!0 -

I did 3 seperate orders on Vistaprint. I designed 'postcards' as invites and RSVP's, and business cards as placecards. Then I got loads of offers from them via e-mail for free banners etc. Most of what I got was actually free, most of what I paid for was postage. If you register with vistaprint they just send you loads of e-mails offering free stuff!!
