    ....

Queenie, any more eggs? What did you do with them - suppose you'll need lots to make a cake? ....

2 more yesterday afternoon :j :j The girls like to lay between 3pm and 5pm it seems ;)

It's roughly 4-5 quail eggs to equal one hen egg when it comes to baking ;)

They can be used like any other egg - fried, poached, boiled, you simply reduce the cooking time. It's going to be great when the lads go back to school in September with their mini 'snack' eggs

:hello: Welcome MimiF, Seeweed and Mr LIH :hello:

Mr LIH - hope LIH is soon out of hospital and painfree; hope you are coping ok without her.

The boys have just brought the post in and the Numpty Turnips were waving it around have successfully thwacked me in the eye with the corners of the envelopes. It's a bit of a trick typing with ;) and streaming wet stuff.

Good excuse to sit down and put a movie on while it sorts itself out.

    Goood afternoon all!

Not been around for a while as I don't feel like I've even had time to breathe lately!! Working two jobs is beginning to take its toll - especially when I have to get up at 5.30am for one, and don't get home from the other until 10.30pm (although thankfully i don't usually work at both on the same day, although it has been known!!). My main news is that I have cleared my £1200 overdraft so now my only debt is my student loan (which I am still accumilating :rotfl: )

I have a rare day off today as the electric at the cafe I'm working at has been cut off (not through lack of payment, but because they're chopping trees down!!) so I am trying to do sweet FA today!!

Got through a humungous pile of ironing last night - I'd let it pile up over 2 weeks and it was hideous!! So I ploughed through it whilst half-watching Silent Witness - although I didn't realise how much attention I was paying to the TV until my freeview went dodgy just as they revealed how & why the people were killed  So I still don't know whodunnit or why!

Feeling good now as I've just taken advantage of a glitch on Boots.com and have ordered some body lotion on BOGOF, and 3 lots of 200 cotton buds, all on seperate orders but all with free delivery and 500 extra AC points - I have literally been paid £4.40 for the cotton buds and £2.50 for the lotion :D

I don't think this thread is at all clique-y or unwelcoming so nobody need fret about that!!

Hope all is well amongst all of you OS-ers!! but :grouphug: to those who need it...

    To Do list:
    - sweep & mop laminate floors
    - search through the fridge and compose a meal plan from what I have
    - batch cooking if above meal-plan so requires (I think I have the makings of a cottage pie...)
    - clean windowsills

    Roz x

Wow!! And you're all still alive!!!????

:j :j Woohoo, I must have done something right!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

PS: Er .. don't forget to take the biscuits out again once their cooked :silenced:

Roz, don't work yourself into the ground, it's nice to be debt free but not worth it if your health is going to suffer in the process :(
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Don't worry (- see people do care and are nice on this thread! ;) ) - it's only for a few weeks and I enjoy it - although its early mornings at the cafe, the british camping holiday seems to be well and truly out of fashion and thus business is bad as we rely heavily on people staying at the campsite to buy their breakfasts/sandwiches etc from us... so we spend most of the day sitting outside enjoying the sunshine :D

Unless of course you were referring to my huge pile of ironing, in which case, I think it's best that i take your advice and don't touch it for a while :rotfl:
