you did not put your foot in it. I agree that it is a pity when negative comments get passed on posts. Someone posted on another thread that one of my meal suggestions sounded "disgusting" - well DH ate it!! so there!;)

    Hi everyone

This is my first post on the daily thread, not sure what I should say yet so just saying hello!
Currently at work  but having my lunch at my desk (really should go for a walk)
My sister is coming home from hospital today so going there after work for a little spring clean to make it fresh for her return.
Also need to get stuck into some housework this week as the house is looking very neglected!

  • Hi, Shez, good to catch up with you. The chicks are now huge, or they seem that way after we haven't seen them for 2 weeks. The couple who were looking after them (who have experience of hens) reckon that we have a hen and a coq, so not bad.

Elona, that's very kind of you! It wasn't really a feeling sorry for myself plea, more that I find it odd that people complain about feeling left out on OS (especially this thread), whereas I find the highest level of thanks here. Sorry to hear about your dad.

Mimi and Seeweed, hello and good to meet you.

Aussie, "house" looks fab! Told you I was nosy!

    Hi Everyone

Finally got round to posting. Not really been busy apart from doing nothing

Went to the 1940's fair yesterday and I wasn't really impressed. I'd been told there was going to be loads there, but there was hardly anything. The "many stalls" selling homemade produce was limited to just the one. And activities were pretty dull. Just pleased the entry fee went to charity

So I went on to another festival celebrating the start of harvest. Again not fantastic, but I got a lovely pair of earrings for £3 and a beautiful dream catcher for £4.

Slept from 5-7pm the whole house dropped off!!!

Got shopping to do after work - extra point coupons to be used in Tesco before the Christmas coupons arrive!! Already looking forward to £15 pounds towards the costs, plus whatever Mum gets.

    Hope everyone's ok.
