Hi again everyone! I have read through the thread but TBH I can't hold onto anything for more than 30 seconds at the mo. I think it's the stress/lack of sleep. I wanted to let you know how I'm doing with my SOA as it's only thanks to you guys encouraging me that I've finally started to do it....
I've still not been brave enough to fully complete the spreadsheet on here as it's allready showing more going out than in, but I have gathered most figures together - so much further ahead than before.
I have also taken the plunge and called Payplan..... they're going to get an advisor to call, but might not be today.
I'm also going to post on the DFW forum because I know a lot of my concerns and questions are more apt there - I hope some of you will take a gander when I do and give me a hug as well as some advice, 'cause boy do I need them right now!! I'll let you know when I've posted if you want me to.
I'm in dire need of a cuppa right now - so I'll catch up again later.
Hugs,

Afternoon everyone
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TICKLEMOUSE
I had a lovely lie in this morning, DH brought me coffee in bed, then he went downstairs and hoovered the living room. I came down and tootled around tidying up for a while. DS has now gone to his dad's who has promised to bring me the missing weeks maintenance when he drops him off later. I have to do some dusting as you could write in the dust at the moment, living on a very busy road in a 200 year old house means that if you miss the dusting for one week it looks like you haven't done it for months.
I want to bake some bread and cakes this evening to take to MIL's tomorrow as they only have her money to live on and they will be feeding 9 people tomorrow. DH did remember to get the giftcards yesterday so I just have to pay the £25 to SIL for our share of FIL's pressie. I bought a lovely load of cards from the Book People for £1.99 so that's sorted too.
I must get on and finish the rug today, so I must stay off MSE!!
Kaz I am so proud of you for doing your SOA, I know how much you were dreading it.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Hello everyone :hello: and HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ticklemouse
I have had the BEST morning. There's a big 3 day local farmers market food festival in our town (Plymouth) with 120 local Devon and Cornwall foodstalls. They were virtually all giving away freebie tasters!Me and my boyfriend have had local venison sausages, about 50 different types of cheese!, jam, pickles, cake, cream tea, fudge, dips with crackers, saffron buns, curry, ice cream, cheescake, locally brewed beer, whisky and damson and cherry vodka......at 9.30am  . There's an outdoor kitchen with cookery demonstrations from some of the region's best chefs and this afternoon James Tanner (from ready steady cook) is doing a ready steady cook with his chef brother and 2 local celebs! I've bought some goats cheese, jam, and spices AND found a cheaper organic veg box scheme nearer to me :T Happy day
Anyway, I now have to lie down as I've eaten too much and drunk too much free alcohol
Have a nice day everyone (and if anyone's near Plymouth the festival is on all day tomorrow too :j )0 -
(((((((big hugs to you kaz)))))))) you can do it x0

Thanks for the support everyone - anyone every tell you what a great bunch you are?
Quick question for Purple princess - I can't decide whether I should firstly do a thread to introduce myself on DFW - or whether I should start a thread with my SOA and introduce myself in that.....
Chances are it's a 'freudian' thing and I'm using it to delay facing things, so I'd really appreciate your advice on this - that way I'll have to do it
Cheers,

Afternoon everyone :hello:
I'm on here just waiting for my Nigella "Chocolate Mousse Cake" to cool! We're going to some friends in Stowmarket for supper tonight and I'm providing the puddingSo, I'm doing a pudding that I love..... This is only the second time that I've ever made it, but it really is divine
We popped into the town this morning to pick up the ingredients for the chocolate mousse cake. Whilst we were there, we just HAD to try out the new deli-bar that has opened up. Unfortunately, DH would only let me have a drink there, but the food looked divine.... Maybe one day when he's at work I'll pop in there by myself and have some food and a glass of wine .
Like Lillibet, I was glued to the Big Brother final last night. What on earth am I going to do at 9pm every night now?:rotfl:
Anyway, I'd better go and get on!
