I thought I'd best get up early enough to ensure there were less than 100 posts to read on the daily thread :D so...

Good morning Squishy and all who follow!

I do hope you get better weather than we have here Squishy so that you can crack on with that gardening - it's pouring relentlessly with rain at the moment.

Lol, the truth behind my early morning is that I went to bed at a sensible (ish- 11pm) time, and typically I am wide awake again. Despite my best efforts I couldn't get back to sleep so I decided to get up and finally do my SOA - but to PC is running soooo slooooow I've had to do a spyware check just in case. It would be just my luck to look at all my accounts while I've some nasty spy stuff going on!!!

I'm so far behind on the daily threads I think I'm best doing it fly lady style now and jumping in where I'm at - I hope if I've missed anything really important someone will let me know ... please :D
My brain seems to have shrunk/retired over the past few days anyhow - I really must go and collect those sleeping tablets as I'm making loads of mistakes and frequently talking gobble-de-gook, IYKWIM
I think I may be waffling so I'd best come back later. One last quickie -

Oh thank the lord Kaz has arrived back, I thought she hated me so much she was even avoiding OS :D;)

Couldn't be further from the truth Moggins! We all had such a fantastic time we'd all love to do it again - in fact the bus hadn't even left when the boys started quizing me about when could they see you all again! I don't know where you get the energy or the stamina for all you've done this hols - I hope that Sunday brings you a well earned rest.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday and gets loads of OS MSing done.
    Hugs to all,

Morning Kaz, Morning Squishy! Morning everybody to follow:hello:

    ***Happy Birthday to Ticklemouse***

Have a fantastic day TM, I hope you get lots and lots of fabulous presents!!

It has been an incredibly wet and miserable night over here in N.Ireland - I think we must be sharing a big cloud with the Welsh one which has been hanging around over Kaz's house. It sounds like it has eased off now, but I don't think there will be too much gardening going on today as the ground must be absolutely sodden. I hope you can get your's done today though Squishy. Of course rain is absolutely vital for a healthy garden, but slipping around on muddy ground isn't much fun.

My day will consist of a resumption of my flylady duties. I really have to tidy my office and get rid of some paper - though I am all talk and no trousers in this regard...procrastination is the thief of time and all that...I'm fantastic at avoiding that particular task.

Happy Saturday everyone, see you all later.

    Ooo - I didn't realise....
    Happy Birthday Ticklemouse!!!
(I would've posted you a nice smiley thing but my smiley central seems to have disappeared - been looking for it for 10 mins!)

Hi Snowy - I'm really impressed with how you've kept up with the FL challenge. Paperwork is certainly the toughest to get on with (I'm always drowning in it) - but you've done so well it'd be a shame to let that beat you. If you're still procrastinating why not alternate 15 mins of paperwork with 15 mins of surfing? Stick at it hun!
I'm off now as I've made myself feel quite nauseous with my finances (to say the least!) Hopefully things will look a little brighter in the light of day....
    Speak to you all later,

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY TICKLEMOUSE-I LOVE YA HUN:D

Have just been woken up by my sisters labrador puppy-who weighs more than I do:eek:

Nothing to do today as Im away, although I will offer.

    Breakie: Bacon Sarnie
Lunch; Baked Spud with M&S Coleslaw and cheddar;)
Dinner; Roast lamb, HM Yorkies, Roasties, New Pots, Fresh Peas, Cabbage, carrots and mint gravy;)

My sis is a great cook and she's also cooked to huge traybakes and covered them with different toppings. She has her own catering company making cakes with different toppers and they are delish! I wish I had a fraction of the energy she has:cool: ...never mind!

Its their Anniversary today, but they are having severe problems and are just doing this year for the kids. We had a long chat last night and the situation is not very good. BIL has run up 14k of debt, but this isnt the first time. 5 years ago 18k, then about 16 months ago was 12k....so around 44k in 5 years:eek:   ...has nothing to show for it, although they do have a nice home. Sister is really worried and is thinking of leving as she cant cope with the lies. There is lots more stuff which i cant go into and things are looking quite bad. Its such a shame really. This is her second marriage and shes 29-both long term, but she does everything for them and they just take the p*ss. Both BIL's have been OK, but do take advantage and she doesnt deserve that! Its all such a mess:confused: lets hope they can save their marriage.

Sorry, but had to get it off my chest.

    Love to all and hugs.

    Goodmorning everybody,

Happy Birthday Ticklemouse Enjoy your day.

Thought I'd jump in now like Kaz while it's still quiet. Well it's not raining here today. Gorgeous sunny weather we are having.:p Hope your garden dries out Squishy enough for you to work in. Seeing as Snowy will be doing FL all day she won't mind the rain.

Very tired here today. Didn't get the best night's sleep. Went down for a wee resty this afternoon and the neighbour across the road, you know the ones with the two dogs I fantasise about killing :D started the mower up. Then the whippersnipper, then the chainsaw. I gave up.

DH can't find the disk. Will call YS up tonight in the vain hope he grabbed it by mistake.

PP Have a nice time at Sis. It does sound likes she's going through a rough trot. A problem shared is a problem halved so hopefully she will feel better discussing it with you. Do you mean she's been married for 29 years or she's 29 years of age?

Kaz Your talking rubbish girl,:D U bet you can't even read this. :rotfl:

Have a great saturday & hugs to those who need them.
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

Well, had a late-ish night glued to Big Brother & the aftermath  (how stupid did Nikki make herself look??) but I finished my FIRST ever knitting project!!:D A very pointy/droopy stripey hat & scarf for Spud for Xmas with ribbon applique. I need to get some more ribbon to finish the daft hat, then I'm going to take a photo of it. But I am so proud of myself for the very woobly holey knitting:D. Hopefully I'll get better in time!:o

Have been up for a while as our nieghbours are moving & they have no idea how to be quiet:rolleyes:. I wouldn't mind the sounds of moving etc but he seems to have neanderthal tourettes & makes random noises coupled with singing one or 2 random odd words:mad:. I don't feel it was neccessary at 5am:p We will not be sorry to see them go, although a part of me is alawys slightly in favour of better the devil you know.....!

No big plans today, some sort of fish dish for dinner tonight.

    Have a good day everyone:wave:
