thriftlady - have a lovely holiday!!!!
Rzl - what a shame that you have to wait til Monday, bit like the HA, hopefully you will have a positive outcome like then as well!!!!!
Well, i watched perfect housewife, and it made me want to tidy all the stuff round my computer, so there i was, with junk and rubbish everywhere, when a friend i hadnt seen for a while turned up!!!! Never mind, people have to take me as they find me sometimes!!!! Was going to make cookies with DD, but we might do that after dinner now, so we have some munchies for the BB final. Also want to make some popcorn, so with a glass of wine for me, should help the evening go well!!!! Im hoping Richard would win as well, although i think it will be Pete, and i agree with Lillibet, as long as Trashlene (love that description, suits her to a tee!!!) doesnt win, i dont really mind.
Right, off to get the pizza (HM) out the oven, im starving!!!!!
Have a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -

Hello everyone
I now have lovely new blinds on every single window....:j:j:j. The makeshift curtains have been discarded...:j. The house looks a lot better, though once I've got the curtain poles and tracks up I can then measure up for curtains and get cracking on those. I asked a long time ago how to make curtains and got lots of very helpful replies, so I will be making them myself rather than buying ready made. I'm looking forward to it actually.
Nelski - that's a really mean thing for this "lady" to do to you. I am sure you have contacted the abuse team to let them know what's occurring, perhaps she'll be traceable through her login or something? The chances are she (if she is a she and not a he pretending to be a she, IYSWIM) is doing this to someone else. Even if she's not it's a gross misuse of the MSE forums. What a cow. I hope she gets her just rewards. Good for you for standing up to her. I had a stalker once - long time ago now - the police do take this v.seriously. They put a tap on my landline (this happened when mobiles were about the size and weight of a brick!) so I know there is excellent technology available to assist with their enquiries.
Kyle - I am v.happy to hear that your little one's bloods are OK, and he's definitely not diabetic. What a relief for you.
Kiwichick - sorry ducks, but the way you related your disastrous evening made me chuckle. I hope that bruise goes away pdq. Sometimes it would just be better to spend the day under the duvet...
BargainRzl - try not to fret too much about your mortgage valuation. My first ever flat was over a shop and I had no problem getting a mortgage, though it was just a reduced pool of possible lenders who would deal with me. If your proposed mortgage providers aren't prepared to lend against a flat over a shop unit then they would not have considered your application at all. You'll be fine, I promise!!
Ageandjo - that's a tricky one getting stuff to your friend...it costs a flipping fortune to send big things, and if it goes by ship rather than plane, it also takes months! I think teabags is a good idea too, though best to check you are allowed to send foodstuffs there. What about getting her some books off amazon.com and having them sent direct to her?
Oh that reminds me, I ordered my very own personal copy of Tightwad Gazette last night - it's less than a tenner on amazon.co.uk at the moment, though it is an old edition. It's on their supersaver delivery wotsit thingy promotion too - so I ordered a yoga book to take it up to £15, so delivery is free.
If you're watching big bruv tonight, enjoy!
Bye all

Hello Everyone
A very tired Scuzz here. Been doing long days down at Airbourne the last two days, and two more left to go. At work now, with more work left to do.
If you want to see what I've been up to check here http://www.sovereignradio.co.uk/presenterArticle.aspx?id=13
Met Des O'Conner last night, who's a really lovely man. Got an autograph, but sadly no picture, as the camera's not great!!!
I'm so tired. I need a break but I'm not going to get one for a few weeks.
Been saving money on food the last couple of days as I've been fed in town by other people:T
Might be doing a tandam sky dive with the RAF Falcons for charity, so watch this space for if I get the thumbs up or not. Should be really scary, but fun!!
Hope everyone's ok. Got to go, as loads to doComping, Clicking & Saving for Change0 -
nelski, glad the police are being some help to you. i had some bother from an ex and his current gf (wife now) years ago. they did nothing to help. i even had someone from the news of the world on thephone to me over a website she started slagging me off, put my photo (and ones my ex had that were nto for others eyes iyswim) and my mobile number online telling folk to call me etc. now i had heaps of proof of the bother i was getting, text messages, emails, a letter saying i should kill myself etc and got no help...i've lost all faith in the police force after this. some people are twisted and strange and enjoy making others suffer...:mad:0

DH is quite impressed with me because the bank wanted to charge me over a £1000 to obtain probate and I think that I can do it myself for £120!!!!
Considering moving nearby to a bigger house that would give everyone a big bedroom each, a cloakroom downstairs and a utility room!! Oh bliss!!!!
