sorry youve lost me their bargainrzl - whose nelson gabriel?

Don't you mean, who WAS Nelson Gabriel? Well he was an old rogue, who died in mysterious circumstances, abroad, if I remember correctly. He owned an antiques business, and his dog, Charley, died recently.

have updated DH on brian - so he's up to it again with "Shove Horn" as i think they refer to her on the website? yeah i know is rory, but it always made me laugh cos it sounded like "worry" with her irish accent!!!

so she had another baby then? i must read the website now!

DS name is Gabriel and DD is Grace (or gronya in irish, snowy will probably give correct spelling)

No, sorry, it was my work colleague who had the new baby. This is now becoming surreal..............off to get lost amongst maize..............isn't there one of them in Ambridge, too...........

    Morning (just about) All:hello:

    Hugs all round:grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

Well, kitchen & bathroonm cleaned, beds made, laundry including nappies done but hanging in bathroom partly due to awful weather & party due to the pair of workmen trapsing around my garden with sacks of cement:rolleyes:

Spud's is about to go off for a snooze but I can hardly slope off for a nap while the workmen are here so I am going to sit down to some knitting & a dvd over lunchtime with a HM sausage quiche:D

I'm with you Essex-Gril, Richard to win:T Unfortuantely he doesn't stand a chance does he:rolleyes:, it's between Pete & Trashleyne (I'm not a fan, can you tell?:rotfl:) I'd settle for Glyn but I fear he too will be overshadowed by the other "look at me"'s:p
As it's the BB finale tonight I would normally splash out on a take away, but in a bid to get the budget under control I have bought some posh pizzas from tescos instead. Yes, I know you'll tell me I could have made nicer & cheaper, but I'm afraid I disagee. HM pizza is never as nice as ready made to me as it's my "night off" food which I just bung in the oven. & buying it from the supermarket is still better than take away....isn't it?:o Anyway, it will be enjoyed with several bottles of wine & a HM plum crumble, made from plums growing down by the river behind us:D

    Have a good day everyone:wave:

SOMO1 - my MIL has her broadband and she's only got 2meg not 8meg,
(but as you say for £25 (why is yrs £25?) isnt the talk3int £20.99? )
it still is very cheap for phone calls as well, provided the broadband connection is good enough??

The monthly fee is £20.99, but the calls you pay on top of that ie mobiles and 0870/0845 numbers bumps ours up to around £25.

I've just tasted some of the weetabix cake that seems to be the new craze :p and I have to agree it's absolutely delish - and sooo easy to make. That will definately be on the menu - oh about tomorrow :D

AussieLass - re your ham bone - I would say that would be fine (I think  ) Not much help either I'm afraid.

Nelski - I can't believe you've got your very own stalker - very Paris Hilton :p Seriously though you must be very worried - is it anyone we know on here
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Sounds fab evening:T can I come round too;) :D
  • Thought i would duck to the bank and shop in a quiet moment, and got absolutely drenched. Doesn't help all the old men who were just stood at the door of the supermarket, waiting for the rain to ease, so no-one could get in or out. Why do they do that?

Spent a little more than i wanted to do, but i got a big joint of pork, and that should make a lovely roast for DH as a surprise tonight, and then cold sarnies for quite a few days. Unfortunately, i forgot to get cash out of the machine. Although i think that can be one of DH's jobs for tomorrow, :D

I'm just playing at internet banking. The savings are having to come down again as DH's car insurance is due at the start of next month, and i've arranged 2 lots of money to transfer over, and then remembered other bills that will also need paying before we get paid again. I can't wait for next month to feel on a bit of an even keel again, and hopefully move some money back into savings. DH is going to cash in his overtime, and that will hopefully pay the credit card bill once we've put the paint on it. It's too much for me today.

Right - going to actually give myself a shake and actually do something constructive today. I feel like i have wasted this week on the whole, and i haven't got time to waste.

    Michelle, xx
