    Morning all
Haven't had the chance to read through properly so hugs to all that need and want one.
In agony this morning, as I fell last night and have badly bruised 3 fingers on my left hand they are totally black and swollen to about 3 times their normal size, so am having to do everything one handed:mad:
Am doing flyladys crisis cleaning today as littlins party is tomorrow and the house looks like a bombs hit it, this one handed malarky is making things pretty hard too. Just on my 15 mins break.
At least I don't have to do the kitchen as that is still spotless from yesterday.
Mum is coming to get my children later and take them to the park, so hopefully things will get done a bit quicker once they are out the way.
We were woken this morning by a huge clap of thunder, totally scared the girls bless um.
Hopefully there wont be any more rain today as I need to weed the front garden as it is starting to look like a jungle:o

    :D Good Morning Everyone!:D (pg 2 already for me again!:o )

I have been soo tired this week, dont know whats the matter with me? very unusual, i used to be up early and got things done, but this week been laying in till about 8am:eek: I'll blame it on the PMT!
Also is it me or does anyone else sweat alot in the mornings?? I'm beginning to wonder if its hot sweats starting!!!! I walk to station and I'm sweating, cant put make up on for work as Im too hot in the mornings! maybe im just HOT stuff eh??:rotfl:

OK changed my flights yesterday, decided to NOT go with BA and now flying with Emirates, figured it might be safer as they seem to target poor old BA.

My DH gave me a copy of "The Cleaning Bible" by kim and aggie last nite (one of the books he's selling at the mo) anyone else got it? i havent looked at it yet.

I havent made that Wheetabix cake yet snowy, must give it a go - is it chocolately like the brownies, only i find that abit too much for me.

penpen - OH now you really will be my DHs favourite after I tell him yr an Archers addict!! he used to be too, he doesnt get time now unless he listens in the car when coming home from work! Can you believe that he actually wanted to call our DD "Shula" - I wouldnt let him have it as a first name but she does have it as her middle name:rolleyes: you gotta laugh!

cha97michelle - Food down the front of your clothes.....get used to it girl it stays that way unfortunately after you've had kids:rotfl: :rotfl:
bargainrzl - fingers crossed with mortgage.
tootles - have good time at quilt show.
chipps - walk on the pier is nice isnt it? i like being by the seaside.

right better post this so far otherwise i will be on page 4!

nelski - that sounds terrible, are they stalking you at your home or just on here?
  • Well I've just put my weetabix cake in the oven - fingers x'd it'll come out delish!!!

Apart from that I haven't done anything yet - I must have a read up on flylady's crisis cleaning :rotfl: I could do with some pointers there ;)

My friends have just arrived in Hawaii for a 4 year posting (military) and I believe that with my talk talk international I should be able to call her for free tonight :D Better not call her now as it will be 11.30pm ish over there now (I think). Fortunately they missed all the airport debacles as they flew to Florida the day before it happened - how lucky is that!

Penny-Pincher - I was reading your post (think it was yesterday) about putting your American orders in - I always get oreo o's (cereal) for DD, as well as double stuff oreos for all of us, Mr & Mrs T's Pina Colada mix and Clorox (bleach spray cleaner). I can feel a song coming on "I wanna live in America..........."

Better dash as I really must clean my kitchen before H&S come and shut me down :p
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

OMG :rotfl: - I've NEVER come across that name outside of The Archers! ... At least with it being her middle name instead of her first, she won't have EVERYBODY she meets giving her a knowing look and saying "So your parents were into the Archers, eh ;)" :D ... Ooooh, I remember being about 4 or 5 and Shula and Mark's wedding made the cover of the Radio Times!

Hi, Shez! :hello: Shula  Tell me that your DS isn't Kenton :rotfl: I think Shula brings out the protrective streak in men, most women think she's a grade A drip. I listen to Archers online, when I'm on here. Does your OH think Brian will get his comeuppance?
BTW, you're page 3 girl in the Penguin house, again, hun :D

Pprincess, my friend used a burger maker to amke declicious beef and veg burgers for our cmaping barbie last weekend. I need one, now :T

Nelski, that's terrible. Don't let the bu99er get you down, though!

2 weetabix cakes out of oven - one for us, one for friend's house. The smell was the only thing to get DD out of bed!

Harvested sweetcorn, blanched in MW, and 12 gorgeous cobs in freezer! Best year we've had. Have beans to do later. Need to make courgette soup for tomorrow's lunch.

On your recommendations, recorded Anthea (she no longer needs a surname, we all know who she is, like Nigella and Delia :rotfl: ) and will watch in a quiet moment over the weekend. Looking forward to it!

    Have fun, Penny. x

Shez - that must be sooo annoying! Our broadband is working fine, and I'm v.happy with the service. We were originally paying BT £50 per month - now we're paying talk talk about £25 per month - bargain in my opinion. However the BB is still at 2.2 mbps - but we're told they're taking over the exchange in November so it should rise to 8mbps - fingers x'd

SOMO1 - my MIL has her broadband and she's only got 2meg not 8meg,
(but as you say for £25 (why is yrs £25?) isnt the talk3int £20.99? )
it still is very cheap for phone calls as well, provided the broadband connection is good enough??

we currently have Orange, and their connection is not very good. when it was wanadoo it was fine, but now orange have taken over its not as good.

penpen/bargainrzl - Yes I know - sad isnt it (poor girl having to admit that shula is her middle name??) He's not a fan of shula herself, but he just likes the name - its supposed to be an old persian name i think.

cant answer you about brian, havent listened in ages im afraid! last time i heard it he was carrying on with the irish bird? (she had the baby, called "worry" which is what is sounded like to me!! ha ha)

Page 3 girl again - well if youve got it flaunt it! ha ha
