hi all..everyone seems to have done so much more than me!!!

    anyway, here goes..this morning ive..

    -got up-major achievement again..
    -made husbands lunch
-tidied kitchen up after making husbands lunch and him making his breakfast
    -fed cat
    -emptied DW
    -refilled DW

    still to do
-wake up eldest-major job! -he texted me in night to say hes been v sick and is sleeping in spare room-cos its got an ensuite-and will i wake him..so best do that now as he has a driving lesson at 9..!
-bring towels in that were left out overnight and put them in washer to spin..will leave that a while as they're really heavy and i have to take them to the cellar..
-ring docs for either an actual in-person appointment or a phone appointment-feels like my rsi is coming back in my right wrist...great-ive got 2 essays to hand in next fri, 1s done, the other not started...2 and a half thousand words is not going to be easy..so hopefully the doc'll sort me with some antiinfalammatories to ease it so i can type 'properly' rather than left handed like i am now!!

and thats about it, if i cant get this essay done i'm really stuck, am already on an extention..long story..aah well, it'll be sorted 1 way or another i guess..

  • Good morning everyone

Have just copied the weetabix cake recipe down - so I'll be making that this morning - can't wait!

Am really about to enjoy my 1st real day off - without having to go over to Dad's (my brothers got a day off today) - so it'll be spent cleaning and cooking no doubt.

    Brekkie: Porridge
    Lunch: Soup
Dinner: Ranchero Pie or Sausage & Pasta - can't quite decide yet :D

Hope everyone has a great day - byee!!
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

    Hiya :D

Started this post after Kiwi's but lost it  Now I'm at least No 15 :D

Anyway, too tired as didn't sleep last night. Have to put all stuff in the cases and make sure we have everything. Am having a body tan at 12 - my birthday treat to myself :) Then at least I won't scare as many people on holiday.

Will mainly be eating raw peppers and leftover chinese takeaway today in an attempt to use up the fridge contents. Will run the vac around the house and the ensuite needs a good clean. I want to wash our bedding so it'll be clean when we get back too. Gerbils are holidaying across the road and go tonight - hope their cat is as old and docile as she says :D

Mr TM - he's going to take the boys out of the way so I can get on!! How thoughtful! Actually, he can take them to a maze that's about 2 miles from here - hope the weather improves though, but somehow I doubt it.

Right, can't remember what else I had to say or to do. Will drink my tea and watch the news fo a bit then crack on.

    see ya later

    TM xxx

Pink I did cross post with you earlier. I never knew cats could get flu. Poor little mite. Tilly is a nice name. When we got married all our cats have been Bill & dogs Ben after Bill & Ben the flowerpot men. :D Somehow they ended up being billy & benny. The waxing was painful  . I stood it twice. Will give the strips to DD. ;)

PPen Bit of useless info for you. Our weetabix are different to your's. :p They are both nice but different.

Kiwi Your day yesterday started off bad and finished bad. I hope today is a better day.

Moggins Hope your arthritis eases. I get something similar in my neck. ((((hugs))))) and take it easy.

HH Hiya sexy. :D If you don't have any fruit it should be ok. You;ll def need the full cup of sugar though. I used 1/2 cup as I found it too sweet last time with the sultanas. It was just right this time. ;)

Shelly Good luck with the carpet picking. I've been doing all that sort of stuff lately & I dither around heeing and hawing. :D I can't seem to make up my mind.

Poppycraker My DH is still sulking from the other day. Ok I might have gone a wee bit OTT but still. (((((hugs))))) to you.

Jay Hope you get a dr's appt.

Well DD has broken down in her car & is waiting for the RACQ. DH is going to meet her on the road after he knocks off as we dont want her waiting there alone. It takes about 1 hr for them to come out. He can give her a lift home anyway if she can't start her car up. Better go and finish tea although we'll be eating quite late. Pop in later. Byeeeeeeee
Don't worry about the world coming to an end today. It's already tomorrow in Australia. ;)

  • Wow you are all so busy in the mornings. I have been up an hour and a half and all I have done is made DD (4) and DD (15 months) breakfast, washed up then come onto pc joined oldham new freecycle then came on here. I love this site but it has become an addiction! Note to self - must try harder.......lol

    Good morning everyone

Feeling really tired this morning and can't seem to get motivated

Been reading about this weetabix cake so think I will give that a try. I must confess I only tried weetabix for the first time on Monday. Was really disappointed as I didn't like it (there's not much in the I don't like category). So experimented and tried it with a bit of brown sugar and it was soooo tasty. Will experiment further like the adverts do.

Need to pop to Costco but dunno if that will be today or maybe over the weekend. Will need to see how the motivation levels go.

I too am looking forward to the BB final tonight. Every other year I am always convinced I know who is going to win, be 2nd, 3rd, etc but this time I just dunno. Although I am a huge fan I feel it has been on just a bit too long this year and there have been too many people.

    Have a great Friday folks

    Good morning!

I am later this morning so have taken ages to read this far & know there will be umpteen more by the time I have finished typing.
    So hi to everyone!

Anyway, I have been good & got quite a bit done this morning, although as DH decided to go to work later than usual it really threw my morning routine!!!
I had a lovely afternoon yesterday, as one of my sisters rang & asked if DS & I would like to go to the coast with her. We went for a long walk along from Frinton to Walton-on-the-Naze, including walking to the end of Walton Pier. It was a beautiful afternoon, and my sister has such a good sense of humour so we had a really nice time.

By the way, Moggins & Kiwi, if you are hoping to see Anthea again today, you're too late! It was half past one this morning!!!!
