    Hello again everyone

I've just been to look round a house that needs a little bit of TLC. Little? Little? I know that estate agents have their own special language that means the opposite, but really...........  The only thing that didn't need doing was the kitchen units..... even then you'd still need to change the tiles!

On the plus side, there is an awful lot of potential in the property when it was fully up to speed.

PS Did I mention the 6ft Israeli koi karp that is in the (large) pond in the back garden?

  • well, you're not so far wrong there, only Mr TM is frm the North, where they are a little more personal. Mr TM tells me the full line is:

    "Brace yerself, Bridget"

(S'ok, as long as you're called Bridget I s'pose :rotfl:)

Thought that was Australian men? Or is that "Brace youself Sheila"?

    Comments, Aussie?

Walks quickly away, remembering Yorks, Lancs discussion.......... :D

    Hi everyone.

Been a busy girl again today. All ironing done, cleaning, stew in SC (just added dumplings), made a loaf and now have chocolate orange cake in BM - smells yum but don't think that or the dumplings will help my diet:naughty:

HH - well done you on the call line thing. I reckon I would be ok typing online stuff but over the phone would be tongue tied I think (would have to be half cut and would then probably burst out laughing). But hey like the idea of hours to suit, could deffo do with something like that even if just a couple of hours in the evening.

Hope everyone else is ok and having a good day.

Just had the house valued as want to sell and rent my parents bungalow for a couple of years with a view to moving over to spain in the future - sooner the better while the kids are so little really.

Oh well kids finishing off there paintings so best go clear up again.

I know I don't post in here but I was reading through and just noticed your reference to your choc orange cake please may I have the recipie  hehe
Well c'mon is it coz im kool? Im not btw I rawk

  • Hey Guys

    Thanks for the nice comments.

Dont know whats wrong but feel abit down today...think Ive missed DD and realising that shes no longer a baby..and shes my best friend:o...worried about her starting secondary school..but know she will be ok...just me being a worrier!

Anyway, were off to my sisters at the coast tommorrow and will be back Saturday evening. Looking forward to seeing her-I miss her alot too, shes abit younger than me at 29 but are great mates. Shes a tough cookie and has been through so much too and really admire her for putting her family first etc. Shes a great girl! Proud to be called her sister.

Have the cleaner coming in tomorrow and am going to leave a note for things she missed last week which I wasnt happy about. She bought her 2 daughters that are dead lazy and she allocated jobs to them I think. Should I ask her about the missing jar of Nescafe?

    Hugs to all.
